"We had only 1 night stay here so didn’t get to experience the full stay, but overall it excellent service, only suggestion is be physically fit if staying in the honeymoon tent as it is located at the bottom of the hill so carrying luggage up can be a challenge for some, beautiful tent"

"Le Rustique is a charming haven just far enough from the bustling town of Nanyuki, while still very close. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the cottages are roomy, comfortable and quaint. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Gorgeous property!!! Right by the river, quiet, serene and beautifully landscaped. The room was a little dated, the shower took a while to figure out and the beds were quite firm. The service was very friendly but a little slow. But overall we had a great stay."

"I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. There needs to be a sign...

"Great attention by the staff and the owner. Food is delicious and really something unique, in a good way, to what you can find in most hotels in the region. You can get the traditional, but going with the culinary proposal of this place makes it really unique. Several ingredients come from their own gardens. Sustainability is of major importance, with electricity being solar for most needs. The tents are so comfortable and cozy. Everything is clean and well kept. Really delivering that Glam in...

"Booked weeks ahead and requested adjacent rooms for family of four, never got them. Bad start. Dinner - 50mins wait, too long, food was good at least. Breakfast good but no bacon and decent coffee is extra. No fridge or milk for coffee/tea. Two tea bags per room for 3 nights. Big problems with hot water and power. Son very annoyed. And crook wifi. Great view of the Mt, friendly manager and staff, safe and secure. "

"Kambi Mstuni is a great resort with friendly staff and beautiful gardens. The restaurant serves great food too. Will highly recommended it if you’re traveling to the Laikipia/Aberdares area. Will only ask the management to do regular maintenance to the murram road that connects it with the main road on the Makutano side since it’s a little rough to drive there when it has rained due to many potholes on it. Otherwise not a bad place to rewind despite the distance from the main road.

"This property seemed to have quite good reviews. I was disappointed overall.
Pros:
-Rooms were clean and comfortable
-Location was convenient
-Staff was friendly
Cons:
-the hotel seemed pretty run down
-the restaurant was substandard
-you could hear everything through the walls
-there was no hot water, even after 3 complaints
-the staff moved all my stuff to another room without my prior knowledge or permission because they wanted to give my room to someone else"
