This property is beautiful, quiet, and tucked away in a great neighborhood close to all the activities you want to do in okoboji. Host is super helpful and responsive, will definitely be coming back next we’re in town.

Great complex with everything you need. Exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room to host family reunion and outdoor deck provides additional space. Location offers views of west Okoboji lake and walking distance to O'Farrell's sister food joint. Hosts were attentive to any/all needs. Look forward to next trip!

Great Place for Our Family

The house was very nice and everything inside appeared to be new. The location was easy to get to all the place in Okoboji. The property has a ton of flowers and mature trees so felt like you’re secluded.

Perfect Boji Stay!

This property is very well located in the Okoboji area and sits in a private lot with a lot of nature surrounding it. The house is well appointed and was very clean. Perfect for families and friends as it is an open concept! Also, plenty of parking for a boat and several vehicles. Our friends enjoyed the home and many amenities!!

The house was clean and I loved the furnishings. The couch was a bit low for us to get off of and stand back up, but it was still neat. I would love to know the history of the house, it's definitely unique. We celebrated our 38th anniversary there and the community of deer was so wonderful to watch. It was a calm weekend.

Magical Cabin

Wonderful weekend with friends. The cabin is in a great location with a wonderful view. We had three couples stay at the cabin and it worked out nicely. Coffee in the mornings on the deck watching the deer was a highlight!

Wedding Shower Stay

The VRBO was excellent! Close to everything which made it even better! Don’t let the yard on the property scare you. It’s wonderful inside! Very clean and the manager was great to work with! It’s a hidden gem!

Great Stay!

It was a beautiful house in a great location! We loved that is was close to everything but you felt very secluded. We also loved the deck. The only thing I would note is there aren’t curtains or blinds in the bedrooms. But I would definitely recommend staying here!

Dad’s Birthday

What va great property, my family stayed at the property and threw a birthday party for my Dad entertaining my brothers and their kids and grandkids. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play and go to the park and everything we needed to cook and entertain.

Even better in person!

This property was beautiful. The beds were comfortable, having 2 bathrooms was great! Close enough to everything that you can walk, bike, or scooter. We have a large boat and there was plenty of room for parking plus the loading ramp was less than a mile away. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Gorgeous house in Okoboji

This house is beautifully decorated and right in the heart of Okoboji. Within walking distance to many things, even in the wintertime! We were pleasantly surprised with how big the entire place was, we werent sure from the pictures exactly what to expect. Would 100% return next year. Perfect space for people of all ages and absolutely gorgeous. Lots of wildlife, too.

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful wood-like feeling of the property works great with the Scandinavian vibe of the house itself. We saw a deer in the back and then there was one right un the driveway! New appliances, beautifully stocked kitchen, the house had everything our family needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Spacious home.

We needed a place for family to meet although it was only two of us staying overnight. Really interesting, nice property!! Lots of deer out back! The bed was comfy, but the living room furniture- no one could sit in it and be comfy. Otherwise, a super place!!

Best Weekend

We could NOT have been happier with this rental. I grew up in Okoboji so coming home to spend the holidays with family is always special. This Vrbo hadn’t come up on our search prior and we couldn’t have been more surprised & happy. The owners are local, we’re more than accommodating and so responsive. Our kids LOVED the nature walks in the back yard, seeing all the deer, squirrels and turkey out the back door and the tree house/loft we had NO idea about was the best place for hot chocolate and a book at the end of the night. It was also very spacious, we spent most of our time at the house rather than my father’s! Spudnuts is just down the road, if you haven’t been: GO. Location is great, so close to the lake. I hope this is available every time we return home - will definitely book again!!

Home was clean and comfortable. Sitting on the deck in the morning and evening very peaceful. Like being in a secluded world wi th the deer and turkey in the yard daily! Watching them with their young was magical for our children. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves the serene atmosphere with the convenience of actually being in the middle of a neighborhood with everything you need just minutes away

We enjoyed our stay on Julia Street. Great, quiet location, close to everything we wanted to see, yet far enough away that it felt like a safe, private getaway. House was clean and well stocked. Communion was good and the turkey and deer were fun to watch. We had a wonderful time in Boji!

The cabin was quaint with very nice kitchen and comfy beds. However the seating in the main living space was not conducive to older renters. We enjoyed the stay but the space could be taken to another level with more functional furniture. It was a vibe.
