Even though our room was booked and paid for in advance, I was immediately charged a $50 deposit when we walked in the door, leaving me to check my bank balance until it's refunded. Breakfast is sparse, but there are plenty of things to BUY for breakfast instead. Internet was poor, but you could BUY premium internet for an additional daily fee. You may see a theme developing here. I don't think the refrigerator was turned on until check-in time, and it took half the night to finally get cold. I was told we could gather up everything and move to a new room, but it didn't seem worth it, and I'm glad we didn't since we would have just started the process over again. No bathtub; shower only. The shuttle to the airport was awesome with friendly drivers. However, the hotel staff fibs about when they're available to pick up and drop off. The desk clerk the next morning was helpful and friendly. However, I found the night clerk on the day we arrived to be extremely unhelpful. And when I asked for a feedback form, he suggested that I leave a review, so here it is.

This hotel is located in a great location for the OKC airport. If you’re driving a car there isn’t much parking. When I got into my room the refrigerator was unplugged and the phones were there but not working. When checking in I was charged an amount over the hold amount and the clerk said “ooops” and then charged the holding fee after that. I have had trouble getting this resolved. The staff isn’t very helpful about it. So instead of paying for one night I’ve gotten charged for almost 3 nights. The hold dropped a few days later but the “ooops” charge has not. Other than that the hotel was decent, the gym was nice it wasn’t immaculate but it was clean. Outside trash cans were spilling over. The hotel is right by the highway so you can hear that at night. The beds were great.

I have stayed in Tru hotels in different locations, and this one is just a good as the others. Modern furnishings and very clean. We stayed one night as we were passing through, but I always feel confident when making a reservation with Tru that I will get the same quality room as I always had.
