We stayed for a trade show over the weekend. When we first entered the hotel there was a strange aroma. Lobby was clean so we didn't know exactly where it was coming from. Check in was super easy. Staff was very friendly.
Upon exiting the elevator we smelled weed very heavily. Once we got into our room the weed smell went away but was immediately replaced with what we described as a possible sewage smell. It was coming from the heating vents. I almost asked to switch rooms but didn't think that would help.
The beds were comfortable. Room as expected. I don't like having to ask the hotel for turn down service or housekeeping to do their job. For a hotel room that costs over $100 a night, I expect my toiletries to be refilled, clean towels, etc without asking.
The 2nd night the lobby still smelled but our room didn't. The 3rd night the smell was back. I am going to assume there is a sewage issue somewhere on the property. I won't stay here again. Also, having to pay extra for a continental breakfast is silly.
