Welcome to Barclay House, a freshly updated and remodeled home with a stylish 1950s mid-century modern flair, ready to comfortably host up to six guests—plus a furry friend or two. This inviting retreat blends vintage character with modern comfort and is perfect for families, friends, or business travelers.

Located in The Village, Barclay House sits on a quiet street near grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and Lake Hefner. Guests love the peaceful neighborhood feel while still having easy access to dining, outdoor activities, and popular Oklahoma City attractions.

Designed to feel like a true home away from home, the house features thoughtful updates while preserving its classic mid-century charm. The home offers three bedrooms and a newly renovated bathroom. The primary bedroom includes a very comfortable king-size bed, the first guest room features a cozy queen-size bed, and the third bedroom offers a twin bed with a twin trundle—perfect for kids or additional guests.

The kitchen is well stocked for both quick meals and relaxed dinners at home. Enjoy a Keurig for single cups or a full pot of coffee, along with coffee pods, tea packets, sweeteners, creamer and a kettle on the stove. You’ll also find a full set of dishes, cutlery, glasses, serving pieces, wine glasses, openers, basic spices, skillets, and pots.

The living room features stylish furniture that complements the home’s mid-century modern style, including comfortable swivel chairs ideal for relaxing. The dining room seats six comfortably and can be extended for larger meals or gatherings.

Step outside to a fully fenced and gated backyard with two shade trees—perfect for relaxing or letting kids or pets enjoy the outdoor space.

Guests have full access to the entire home, front yard, backyard, and single-car garage. Entertainment is easy with Samsung Smart TVs in the living room and all three bedrooms, high-speed 1,000 Mbps internet, and DirecTV streaming for network television. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming accounts.

This house was in a really cool neighborhood as it was all Midcentury Modern ranch houses. The host did a great job on the house and decorations. It was nice, clean andall amenities were fantastic especially a garge to boot. My only critic is for a sponge or dish cloth & ice trays. The back yard slong with table & chairs was great.

Great place to stay in OKC

We were in town for the Alan Jackson concert and were in need of a quick and convenient overnight option. This was perfect for us and our two adult children. Good neighborhood and well appointed clean house. 10 minutes to the Paycom center. Worked out great, would definitely stay here again.

Beverly was great to work with. We had some issues with the door keypad and she responded quicky and solved the issues within a few minutes. The house was very clean and perfect for our quick family trip.

Mom friends weekend away

Two of my friends and myself didn't overnight get away. It was perfect for us because everyone had their own room and bed to sleep in. We can hang out in the living room at night with the warm fuzzy blankets. The kitchen was well stocked. The neighborhood was safe.

Quiet Neighborhood

We had everything that we needed for our long weekend stay. 4 adults, one toddler and our dog. The house is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and parks for the grandkids and dog walking. It was so quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the extras like coffee, a few snacks, bath products and laundry soap. We would definitely book again when we return to the area. It’s always a bonus when we can bring our pup!

OKC Getaway

I had to travel to OKC for a work trip. I loved this house the only recommendation I would make is a fan to plug in for each room. The AC unit wasn’t cool and ceiling fans rattled. Other than that it was very nice!

The Village

My recent stay at Barclay House in The Village was an absolute delight. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, the house offered a tranquil escape while remaining conveniently close to all the action Oklahoma City has to offer. First thing that struck me upon arrival was how sparkling clean and beautifully renovated Barclay House is. It's clear a lot of love went into the remodel, as modern touches and stylish décor created a truly inviting atmosphere. From plush new furniture in the living room to brand new, comfortable mattresses in each bedroom, Barclay House prioritized comfort in every detail. The well-equipped kitchen with a Keurig and all the necessary cookware made meal prep a breeze, while the high-speed internet and smart TVs in each room ensured endless entertainment options. The Village itself is a charming and peaceful neighborhood, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Yet, Barclay House's location puts you within easy reach of grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centers, and stunning Lake Hefner. Highly Recommended Overall, my stay at Barclay House was fantastic. The combination of a tranquil location, stylish renovations, and thoughtful amenities made it a perfect home base for my Oklahoma City adventure. I highly recommend this VRBO property to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in a vibrant city.
