Loved the hotel, great price. Only issue is people park under the awning where that is the only way in or out of the parking lot. Makes it frustrating trying to get to your room. They have parking for people to book, behind the office.
It is an older property, so no USB charging available in the room. I would have appreciated shear curtains behind darkening curtains so I could have natural light but not notice everyone walking past my room staring in. The hair dryer didn’t work, however I very much appreciated iron & ironing board in room. Overall appreciated and will stay there again.
Leftover food still in fridge. Ceiling above the shower falling down. Caulking old and showering huge cracks. Cigarette burn in the comforter. "Free Breakfast" was the skimpiest i have seen in years. Waffle, old muffin or nothing. Nice people but need to invest in repairs.
Upon late arrival, clerk kept nodding out during transaction, claimed unable to rulrill my reservation but did, too much outside light in room, no fuse bo. Cover in room, dirty
My greatest disappointment about this motel was the air unit in the room, it smelled as if it had never been cleaned, and seeing how it was summer, one had no choice but to use the air unit. The smell of the air unit was unbearable, and I couldn't wait to leave. Otherwise, the room was clean, although when I had my 'do not disturb' sign on my door, for the much needed sleep I needed, the motel staff knocked on my door anyway, to ask for my dirty towels; I find this very unacceptable. Those signs are put out for a reason, do not disturb, means 'do not disturb', the motel staff just seems to ignore this. Also, the Mexican restaurant across the street from the motel, is horrible, don't waste your money eating there,
It's Okemah, Oklahoma so keep that in mind. The dissatisfying part of the stay were the beds......need replacing. The towels in our room were worn out, had holes, and only two were provided. Again, it's Okemah Oklahoma but I heard while I was there, a new Holiday Inn Express is going in.

Perfect Location
It's right off the freeway... And we were visiting family in Okemah... So it was in the perfect spot for our needs... The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable... The wifi didn't wok too well, but that could have been due to the snow... Overall good experience...
Came in on Tuesday stayed through Saturday. never saw one bug was clean, staff was friendly & housekeeping staff was so kind & attentive. if coming back i would definitely stay here again. Thank you for my nice stay.
It seemed like I was bothering the family that clearly lived there and worked there. Yawning and barely greeting me, They quoted me a cheaper price, and then I informed them that I paid already.
I drove from San Antonio in terrible rainy and icy weather and was just wanting to take a long hot bath when I got to this hotel. I chose this one ahead of time because it was about halfway to St Louis and the pictures make it look better than it is. Also, I didn't want to spend too much money, knowing it was just for needing a place to sleep and bathe. The tub smelled like dirty feet, so I didn't get to take a hot bath or even bathe at all. I would expect for $79 to a least have a decent smelling bathroom. I would suggest stopping in Oklahoma City and getting a much nicer hotel for probably close to the same price.
This rates as the worst room experience in recent years. The carpets was worn out, ceiling tiles were chipped/stained. Bathroom had hair in the tub. Walls were poorly patched and painted. I would never stay there again!!!!

Friendly Staff, Mediocre Accommodations
This is exactly what you'd expect - a run-down hotel in the middle of nowhere. The staff is friendly, the accommodations are basic and yes, you will see some bugs. That said, it's quiet, convenient, and within walking distance of a few restaurants and a couple of fast food joints. It got the job done. :)

The price was right
The bedroom was nice with newer carpeting but the bathroom was way dated and bordered on nasty though it was clean but old.
