"We stayed in this hidden gem for 2 nights with another couple. We rented a Superior Villa with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms but upon arriving we were surprised to see that it was a lot smaller than the photos led us to believe. It would be better for a family then 2 couples as the bedroom with the double bed only had a privacy curtain. Both rooms were open above the door so that the AC which is only in the single beds room, could cool the entire villa. We did not eat there, which is good because...

"Max and his wife are fantastic, caring amd interesting people who treat you like family. Max is supremely knowledge of the area, the dinning options and activities available. He is responsive and helps you book and facilitate everything. The place is clean centeral and has the great vibe of staying with family. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The coffee is divine. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. "Jessica the owner was so helpful and amazing customer service. The place is wonderful and infinity pool was great. She also advised us places to visit which were really helpful. "Our stay at the golden pineapple was wonderful. My husband and I love to travel to new countries and hotels. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. The drive up to the hotel does require a 4x4 vehicle. However, we did not view this as a negative. Nothing amazing comes easy! The views were spectacular and actually enticed to want to stay at the resort which says a lot as we typically prefer to leave each day. The food was great. And service was even better! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The previous negative reviews have unrealistic expectations or blame this property for things out of their control. I would definitely come back again and encourage anyone to stay here when visiting CR. So much to do nearby! Thank you Jessie for a wonderful experience. "
