"Great place to get away from it all! Well appointed kitchen. We didn’t realize property did not include sheets and towels but Host was amazingly responsive and came through for us after dark! Sorry we couldn’t stay longer. (Bring your sheets and towels)"

" If relaxation and convenience are high on your vacation list, check out Idlewilde Cottage. The hosts are communicative and kind. The cottage is updated and features extras like air conditioning, a large television and lots of kitchenware. The owners have planned for your needs with an outside deck, a fire pit, comfy furniture and updated decor. Excellent choice for a weekend getaway or a full family week-long stay. "

"Located close to some restaurants and shopping and close to Franklin and Oil City attractions and dining . Staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean with comfortable beds . The breakfast offering was better than you might expect. The room has a small microwave and refrigerator . An affordable comfortable stay."

Kind and Helpful

"From start to finish, our experience expectations were met and/or exceeded. Josh was not only kind and prompt with his responses, he's a guy who treats others as you'd assume to be treated. You need something, he'll accommodate. You don't need anything, he trusts you, but still tries to suggest. If we could have had a better experience, it would not have been because Josh didn't provide. He's a great guy to work with and consider him a friend now. My Dad, Son and I had a great time."

Perfect Treehouse

"My 19 yr old daughter has always wanted a treehouse, but never had one. We decided since she never had one of her own, we should at least stay at one and found this beautiful treehouse! The pictures are spot on and the treehouse is even cooler in person! Everything feels so welcoming and inviting, including the touches by the host, such as the local bottle of wine! The lights on the walk bridge and the outside of the treehouse make it look so pretty at night. The remote location is perfect and just what you’d expect for a treehouse.The only suggestions I have would be to add a light near the fire pit (although the one outside light on the side deck might have added light to the fire pit; we didn’t try that one) and a heads up about the “no winter maintenance road” right before you get to the treehouse (there was one rough section that you could bottom out your car)."
