The stayed in a deluxe two bedroom apartment.
It was clean and comfortable but was a like dated.
The views are fantastic. It was quiet and perfect for a relaxing time away.
It had aircon downstairs but none upstairs, this made it v hot up there, especially in the 2nd bedroom.
We used the provided fans but they really need proper air con upstairs.

We were booked in for the guesthouse but when we got here really wanted to stay multiple nights and were given the option to move into a wing of the homestead at the same rate which was a generous option -- Frances and Julian are wonderful.

The view from the room was amazing if one overlooked the rooves and bins. The bath plug was disgusting and the shower over the bath didn't work. Clean room, great amenities! Kids enjoyed the basketball and tennis courts. We all enjoyed the heated (very warm) pool. Park like setting, but close to downtown Taupo and all the tourist destinations. Loved our stay! Would recommend!
