Lovely location and a beautiful house. Warm welcome by very helpful host. Easy to find and easy to park. Only stopped a night passing through but would’ve happily stayed another day/night.

Splendid!

As this was a new property in VRBO with few ratings, we had to wait to see what the property was like. In short, it was splendid! The accommodation is located in a small village of 300 people. The lodgings were impeccably clean and room sizes were very large - truly a 3-bedroom house with large kitchen, dining room and salon. The beds, always important, had comfortably firm mattresses. The surroundings were blissfully calm and serene. Muriel met us to show the lodgings and provided lots of information. Contacting her via text message was easy and she responded quickly. She also offers to deliver pastries and bread for your morning breakfast at very reasonable prices. They have a small vineyard production and we accepted a dégustation for the following morning with Muriel and her husband, Luc. They offered up some delicious homemade "croûte" and we ended up spending about 90 minutes chatting about their vineyard, the village, and the village experiences in both world wars. (Note: our conversations were in French). This was certainly one of our top VRBO rentals so far in France and we would absolutely book again next time we visit the Champagne region. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte ! Nos hôtes étaient disponibles et à l'écoute de nos besoins, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable. Le gîte est confortable, bien entretenu et idéalement situé pour profiter de la région.
