Long Beach Fall Get away

Gorgeous fall weekend in Long Beach with incredible sunset & moonrise as you dig away razor clams! Wasn’t as lucky with the clams as we didn’t get our limit but the weather was perfect! It was beautiful! We’ve been here before but this weekend tops it all! Will go back again.

Clean and Comfortable

The room itself was clean, spacious for two people. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We were happy to find wine glasses and an opener provided. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, down a road, past a house. If you want to rent a movie there are DVD rentals for $3 each in the lobby. We wanted to go out to eat, the front desk offered us choices, all of them a long drive away. (If you were to bring groceries and cook in the small but functional kitchen, then the distance wouldn't be an issue.) We ended up at Lost Roo and had a great meal. Next time we would choose a place to stay that is closer to the restaurants, as we were only there one night, midweek. Check in instructions had me nervous, hence the four star review, plus the distance to food. This is a time share property. You can't mention Homeaway or you'll confuse the front desk staff, we were told in the instructions. In the end check in was smooth, our stay was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.
