This spacious townhouse comes with every bell and whistle you can think of, so come experience the easy pace of a Sunset Island vacation! 52 Island Edge Dr is a well-appointed, five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath townhouse in one of Ocean City's finest resorts. Located just a half-block from the pools, cafe, clubhouse, and private bayfront beach, this property is not only convenient but also very comfortable. The spacious and open floor plan features a full kitchen, a dining area, and a living room that leads out to balconies on either end, perfect for entertaining and relaxing together. The living room even boasts free Netflix access! Additional luxuries include free WiFi, four brand-new TVs and DVD players, high-end appliances, a soaking tub in the main bath, a private washer/dryer, and four graceful balconies with partial views of the Bay. The rental is from Saturday to Saturday. Walk to the beach for a day of sun and surf, only five-and-a-half blocks away, or stay home to enjoy Sunset Island's awesome, resort-style amenities. Everything is a short walk from this centrally-located home, including interactive fountains, a general store, a snack bar, a fishing and crabbing pier, a scenic nature path, a library, and so much more! You may not even need to leave the community gates!
Things to Know A building registration fee includes six facility passes and three parking passes. Additional facility passes are $75 per pass, per person per week. Children three and under do not require a facility pass. The fees are the following: Winter (January 1 - April 30 and October 1 – December 31) = $100. Spring (May 1- May 23) = $150. Summer (Sunday BEFORE Memorial Day, May 24 to Saturday AFTER Labor Day, September 12) = $200 Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. My wife and I came here with the families of our two daughters for a week at the beach. Place was roomy and clean with nice amenities and a good location for beach and amusements. Located in a vacation resort so there are lots of rules and regulations.
Very nice property. 5 golfers....all had enough room. We even cooked a meal in.....

Nice and pleasant stay
Community is very nice. Close to the pool. Made use of the gym facility as well. House is well appointed and comfortable for our family and friends (with little children) who stayed with us. Well maintained, nice place to stay.
House was great, extremely clean, check in was easy, kitchen fully stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, and everything labeled. Extremely close to the pool and beach. The beds were a little harder than we would've liked but that's the only reason this review is a 4 not a 5. Had a great stay and will definitely book again!

We loved the location of the home and that it accommodated the needs of our family. The kids had a blast and didn’t want to leave! This is our third time coming to Sunset Island because we like all the amenities and that we can walk to the stores and some restaurant's.
This place was perfect for our group of 6 cyclist. Each man was able to have his own room. The kitchen, living room and balconies were all spacious enough to accommodate all comfortably. The place is close to some of our favorite restaurants that we like to visit for our annual trip. We would definitely book this place again.

Location and space
This just may become our families go to vacation rental. Love is an understatement when it comes to location: Bay and pool at your doorstep, easy walk to shopping, ocean beach, mini-golf, grocery store. The home has four levels with space for a large family!!! The balconies on every level to enjoy sitting outside! An empty garage to store beach gear for the week makes vacationing easy! The home could use some TLC but all in all a great place to vacation!
We love this property location and all the amenities it has to offer for all ages of children. We have been here before and will be back again. The private bay for the kids is great.

Great location!
Proximity to the pool, bay and restaurants was great. Everything we needed within walking distance. Carpets were dirty and worn and yellow walls were overwhelming. Good outdoor seating and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen.

Beautiful place, but definitely are so m e issues..Make sure you bring your own toilet paper, beds are uncomfortable, front door keypad and garage door keypad had problems,lower level bathroom had some rust.

Great summer setup for our family's summer vacation (8 adults / 4 small children).
Location of the unit was very convenient for our needs. Bedroom bed setup worked great for our families. The unit itself was close to both the pool and bay. The kids really enjoyed the indoor / outdoor and baby pools. Outside beach bar had great views. Only a short walk to the beach. One negative with our experience: some of the bar staff and servers tending to the pool area were either not knowledgeable of the bar Happy Hour or not honest about it. Servers at the pool area gave different HR beginning/end times. Some servers said HR was only served at the bar whereas others were willing to tend poolside. This was not an issue relating to the home owner but rather to the property management team of Sunset Island. However, in general our experience at Sunset Island was awesome. We would rent the unit again in the future.

First it was a beautiful place with lots of room. There were some issues that some could be ok if you knew ahead of time and some that need to be fixed. First there were 2 rolls of toilet paper total upon arrival. There were 4.5 bathrooms, so you can see where this was a problem. Called the # to get more and we never got a response. If we would have known, we would have brought some. The front door lock was hard to get into. The garage keypad didn't work at all. All the beds were uncomfortable. Every one of us complained about it. The shower in the lower-level bathroom was very rusty. and last , parking could have been explains a little better. Couldn't park in front without having a warning notice, which was a problem because of the garage keypad. So, lots of space and nice location, just some things could have been better.

Unit is located close to pool and beach, well stocked and plenty of room for the family, on the flip side, the carpet on the stairs is worn and very dirty - we called Vacasa and they were going to send someone to try and clean them but nobody ever showed.

52 island edge is close to the pool and bay which was very convenient.
It was pretty clean but the carpet is worn and the bright yellow paint was too much. A softer yellow would be more relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped, nice coffee pot and kuerig . Good cooking pans. But there was no toilet paper or paper towels , or dish soap. Apparently the cleaning service dropped the ball. For this high price that would be helpful. It’s hard to bring everything. Especially when they said it would be supplied . Overall it was a great vacation.
Overall a great location, very close to the bay and pool and a short walk to the beach! Bed mattresses are a little hard but overall we had a really good time!
I never stayed in Reboboh before, but I will be back again.

Beautiful and well-maintained home. Had everything we needed
Once again, staying in Sunset Island did not disappoint. The home was well-maintained and had everything we needed. My only negative comments are for Vantage - the check-out process was not easy and in my opinion, unnecessary. Why do we have to return facility and parking passes that are dated for a specific date range and printed with our name? Can't they just be thrown out? If you check-out before 9am as we did, they do not supply you with the code for the lockbox. We were unable to drop off our passes without calling the emergency number for the code. The woman answering the emergency line was very abrupt and annoyed at our call but we had no other choice. I urge you to change this check-out process.

Nice location to the pool!
The main reason for 4 stars is because the carpets were dirty. I realize it is the end of the season but we had two toddlers and a baby. Love the tile and vinyl in main living area. I could clean it. No supplies. Suggest a house broom and mop. A big clam pot would be great. The layouts are awesome and everyone enjoyed themselves. We love the community.
