Direct Ocean Front Condo~Golden Sands

This warmly furnished 19th floor condo at the spectacular Golden Sands Club, 109th and Coastal Highway, offers all of the comforts of a fine hotel. Beautifully appointed master bedroom offers a king bed and floor to ceiling views of the ocean sunrise. The bay side bedroom accommodates guests with a luxurious queen and a cozy day bed. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room makes available additional sleeping. Both bedrooms have TV/DVDs. The living room provides a DVD player as well. Sliders open from the living room onto a private balcony.

Additionally: Fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. Washer and dryer. Cable. Private WIFI Internet connectivity available (must bring own computer).

No detail has been overlooked to facilitate your comfort and enjoyment.


Amenities: The Golden Sands Club offers an indoor swimming pool year round, an outdoor swimming pool, a children’s wading pool, a large oceanfront deck with tables, chairs, umbrellas and a beach bar/grille. Men’s and women’s saunas, a large exercise room with nautilus equipment, a sky lighted atrium and a game room are located on the 22nd floor. Paddleball, tennis, shuffle ball and volley ball courts are located on the recreation deck. Along the deck is a promenade of shops including a sandwich shop, an ice cream parlor, a convenience store and gift shop.

Area: Located within 30 minutes of Tanger Outlets with over 130 brand name outlet stores in Delaware, the home of tax free shopping.

So Awesome!

We love this place so much. We all get all giddy and juiced up just pulling in the Golden Sands parking lot. Beautiful room with an unbelievable view. We leave the curtains open till morning so the sun can wake us up. Fantastic stay every time! We will return.

Clean and Cozy

Condo was great, clean and cozy. Cookware could use an upgrade as the pans were really hard to cook anything in and the kitchen needs a sponge or something to wash the dishes. Otherwise no complaints, great spot, loved the balcony and would def stay again.

My family and I had blast on our 1st vacation to OCMD. This condo was great for the price. The Kitchen was well with everything we needed for a 1 week trip. We may have had an off season week because we had no issues with the elevator wait times. The views from the beach and bayside were amazing. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Great views await you

We've been coming to Ocean City Maryland for over 24 years and love the Golden Sands. We had a great view of the beach and Ocean. We also had bathrooms on the large deck outside which was better then having to run back to your room. The Unit was clean and very well appointed with everything you need. TV' in both bedrooms and a big screen in the main room. Tile floors when you come on in and carpet in the main areas. The Wifi was good and enjoyed some noard games on rainy days. This unit was excellent and can easily be good for a family who wants to relax and enjoy the sunshine. We both enjoyed the view from the balcony the most. Grwat Sunrises and moon beams over the ocean. I will be staying here again.

OCMD 2023

We enjoyed the actual condo itself but the building and some staff were lacking. Getting moved in was a lengthy process with long waits for elevators. The $50 charge at check in for amenities is ridiculous. The building should be in much better shape with just that income alone. The gym was not great quality. People were going to outside gyms for better equipment .My car was damaged by another guest and we asked the manager to look on the cameras to see if the incident was recorded. She said she would but never did. One parking slot per condo with the option of renting another for $20/day, need I say more? The entertainment seemed to be fun for families with young children.

The property was as described. It was nicely decorated. There were some problems with the unit such as the dryer needs repairs, it is very loud and grinding noise and takes too long to dry. The primary bedroom bed was comfortable but squeaked and rocked with every movement. There were no hand/face towels or kitchen towels provided . There was an overflow alarm on toilet which went off in middle of night while all were asleep and toilet was not used. In the middle of the week a fire alarm went off at 8 am so not knowing what was going on we began our 19 story evacuation. Once over there was no explanation. The following day the water for the building was turned off for 4 hours with a small sign in the elevator as the only warning. The views were spectacular, the weather was perfect, dining options many and very good.

Ocean City 2023

We really enjoyed the accommodations. The condo was very neat, clean, and very comfortable. We had total control of the AC so we could control the temperature which made everyone happy. The views were amazing! The building itself was not very accommodating. 3 of 4 elevators worked and were very slow. We stayed on the 19th floor and there were a few times when we had to wait 30-45 mins for an elevator. Check in day took over 1 hour to get a “cart” (which was dirty) and get an elevator to reach our condo. The “carts” were either laundry/garbage bins or random shopping carts. There are no restrooms in the lobby so you can imagine how uncomfortable we were after driving 6 or so hours and then waiting for the elevator. One of the overnight security guards was not very friendly. He was rude and did not address our question. We waited until the day security personnel arrived. If the condo was in a different building, I would highly recommend it. However, unfortunately, it is in a building that I would not recommend nor will consider for my next stay in Ocean City.

We had such a wonderful stay at this oceanfront condo! The location couldn’t be better — waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and enjoying coffee on the balcony with stunning views was absolutely priceless.
