The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect 1 BR with private Den beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable. New enhancements for 2024 include a newly installed HVAC system.

Things to Know
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
Newly renovated to include two full bathrooms, available for 2025.
This retreat features a den/sunroom that can be used as another bedroom/private sleeping area for your convenience.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A Welcome Respite

Golden Sands has a lot of amenities, which makes for a wider appeal. The Tiki bar on the pool deck area meant a beverage and meal were always available, The unit itself was very nice w/ recent updates and newer furnishings. The vertical cellular blinds in the main BR and LR were great for cutting down heat and glare. The LR seating and main BR bed were very comfortable. The 2nd BR bed didn’t receive rave reviews from the occupant. While the kitchen is very well equipped, and even has a big pot for crabs, bring your own mallets, picks, and claw crackers as the unit does not have any. Would happily stay again at this unit.

Great location!

Our condo was in a great location- off to the side so unless people were at the pool, no one was staring up at you. Ocean view was great! Would definitely consider renting here again.

Perfect place to stay!

This was a great condo for 4 adults. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Clean! Areneids were wonderful. My only recommendation would be the second bedroom needs a bigger bed.

Golden Sands is the best place to stay and this is a great condo there. Only 4 stars because 1) light from pool deck keeps the bedroom and living room from being totally dark for those who need total darkness to sleep. 2) noise from pool deck can be annoying at times (2nd floor). and 3) if you are using the fold out couch bed, there is no room to get by it if you need to. Would stay here again.

Love it

They have upgraded the bathroom and its wonder. Daughter can take a shower in piece with hot water. 2 separate baths is a game changer. They did great. Even wiggly outlets fixed. Im a landlord so I see the details. I would buy some tall coffee mugs for kitchen and maybe better lighting in kids room. Kids closet could use some paint. Balcony needs a good cleaning. Wonderful job Daniel and Sue. I cleaned what I could.

2nd Floor Beachside Condo

This was a nice and roomy condo with a nice view of the ocean. Overall well maintained and easy access to the beach, pool, parking made it simple to relax. The washing machine/dryer was great to have and the kitchen was overstocked with cooking gear. However, there was a major problem with the condo temperature. The AC did not control the temperature, only the living room and back bedroom had some cooling, none in the master bedroom. There was a ceiling fan and floor fan in the master bedroom but didn't help much during the day. The screen entrance door did not have any screens (only glass) so the only way to get the cross-breeze was to prop the doors open. But then we had to listen to the loud Coastal Highway noise. Since the temperatures were only in the high 70s-low 80s during the day and cooled off at night, it was ok.

The place was very well equipped. The only issue was with the air conditioning and I had to call once the day after we arrived. Then I had to call again 2 days in a row because they never came the Ist day and I waited from 1:30 in the afternoon. Then the next day until 11:30 am after I was told they would come right away. That was a waste of my vacation time. The mattress in master bed room sunk in the middle.

Stayed in this room in 2014 when we got married and chose it again this year. Great location in the building, can use the steps to get to floor one which is the beach/ deck level. Amenities in the room nice. Hopefully will be back and book it again next year

Great Beachfront Getaway

This 2 bdrm condo was perfect! The location and views were right on the beach. The amenities in the building were very nice and accommodating with a nice pool and bar downstairs, as well as entertainment on some evenings. My only issue was with checkin, where I received an email notifying me I could proceed to checkin and was given a code for the keyless entry. I did not realize I had to pickup an envelope with a parking pass to display on my dash at checkin and wound up getting my car booted because I was parked in the wrong spot as the spot number is not the same as the room number. Luckily the management was very understanding and were able to remove the boot at no cost. My only suggestion would be for the automated email advising your room is ready clearly state that you must go pickup your envelope and parking pass. Overall this was a minor issue and we had a WONDERFUL TIME!!! I would stay here again!…

Our stay at Golden Sands condo 216 was great. The condo is very clean, updated, nicely decorated and well equipped. We had easy check-in and check-out with keyless entry. Beds were made with extra clean sheets, enough clean towels, hand soaps, dish soap, paper towels and toilet paper. I enjoyed being on the 2nd floor with the stairs close by. Wonderful view of the ocean and pool. Overall, we all had a wonderful stay and would book again.
