    The Space:

    Some of the prettiest sunsets you'll ever see await at Playa Flamingo 308, a bayside condo in midtown Ocean City with panoramic views of Assawoman Bay and the neighboring wildlife sanctuary. This two-bedroom condo comes complete with a balcony, central air conditioning, free WiFi, a private washer/dryer, a full kitchen, and access to a rooftop swimming pool - all only two blocks from the ocean beach. This all-masonry building is located in midtown Ocean City, close to all sorts of restaurants, beachy eateries, shops, conveniences, miniature golf courses, and nightlife in the surrounding blocks of Coastal Highway. Head two miles south to Seacrets or just a bit further to Jolly Roger Amusement Park and the heart of the Ocean City Boardwalk, or go north for the day to Northside Park (two miles) and Fenwick Island (four miles). Things to Know Full kitchen No smoking allowed Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Our condo was beautifully decorated and matched the ocean vibes. We had an excellent view of the bay and sunset. It was just perfect. Close to the ocean and market and plenty of places to eat out and enjoy crabs! Hope to come back again!

We enjoyed the location and the amount of space and all the accommodations. The only issue we had was there was hair in the bathtub and floor is the master bath.

Spoiled by an awful bed and do-nothing management by Vacasa

This should be a great apartment. But the main bed is painfully bad, with a shot mattress. Vacasa were told on the first morning of the problem, and we had several communications back and forth but they couldnt even be bothered to send someone to assess it, let alone do anything concrete to fix it. It's a shame because otherwise it's a great apartment in a great building. However until the bed is updated it's best avoided. And Vacasa have shown they will do nothing to fix problems if they arise.

This should have been a 5 star review. It's a great apartment. BUT the bed in the main bedroom was AWFUL. The mattress was shot, so two people can't sleep on it without rolling in to the middle, and we daily woke up in pain from sleeping with no real support. We contacted Vacasa on the first morning. Whilst they were initially quick to respond, it was all just words and buck passing and they did absolutely nothing to deal with the problem. If you value a good night's sleep (and who doesn't want that on vacation?) then until the bed/mattress is updated I would steer well clear of this property, and any Vacasa managed property. It's a real shame as otherwise it's a great apartment in a great building in a great location. But the mark of a good property and management is how they deal with problems when they arise. Vacasa couldn't even be bothered to have someone come and assess the bed, let alone even consider doing anything concrete about it. They repeatedly said they would "reach out to the local manager." Needless to say I never heard anything.
