"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."

"We hebben genoten van de plek, rustig, ruim, veel privacy mogelijkheden in huis, als je zoals wij met 4 vriendinnen bent. Keuken uitrusting basic, alles is er. Fijn balkon en mooi uitzicht, je bent zo in de natuur. De wc zat in de badkamer, dat was soms wat onhandig. Prima plek! Gastheer was niet aanwezig maar wel goed te bereiken voor vragen."

"Das Penthouse ist schön und neu. Ich denke wir waren die ersten Besucher. Manches war einfach noch nicht richtig fertig.Leider mussten wir jeweils einen Tag Urlaub opfern, weil der WLAN Schlüssel nicht da war und er zweite WLAN Schlüssel in der Mail nicht der richtige war. Wie haben denn Code dann gehen 12 Uhr bekommen, was aber leider zu spät war. Der Whirlpool war grün und somit nicht zu benutzen. Es waren viele Kleinigkeiten. "Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen, was den Scharm nur erhöht. Zwischen Weinbergen und Wäldern hat man ein kleines Domizil mit Garten und Grill für sich. Einkäufe lassen sich komprimiert in der nächsten Umgebung erledigen. Die Gastgeber wohnen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft, aber man hat nur Kontakt, wenn man ihn anfordert, was die Gastgeber noch sympathischer macht! "

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."

"We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. We found everything we needed in the apartment, which is very big and cozy and the landscape is amazing. The place is beautiful, so peaceful, not so far from the lake and the shops are also in the nearby. Ursula and Gerd, the owners, are very kind and friendly. We would love to go back to this apartment for our next holiday! We want to thank Ursula and Gerd for their kindness!"

"Great location, spacious room, comfortable beds, very nice restaurant on premises, and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Overall a very pleasant experience. Important - if you're driving, the am Frucktmarkt address will only get you close due to pedestrian only zones. There is a parking garage in back (with a different address) that has direct access to the hotel - call ahead and get that street address and save yourself a walk."
