The perfect weekend getaway!

We LOVED staying at this home - it was our first time on this part of the lake, and it didn't diappoint. The view is incredible, and you cant beat location - so close to bars, shops as well as outings like Swallow Falls and rock maze! We had two families and a dog, and there was plenty of room for all. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would ever need. We had such a great time we wanted a late check out :) would definitly stay here again! Thank you!

A Breathtaking View

We absolutely loved this beautiful home & the view was breathtaking! The steep driveway not so much but that would not keep us from staying there again. It was perfect for our dogs with the fenced/gated area for them. Wish we could afford this place in the spring/summer!! Loved it all!!!

Beautiful Lake House

The inside of the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. The view was out of this world! The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly.

Lovely Stay

My sister, daughter and I were in wow mode from the moment we walked in the door. The pictures on line did not do justice to the "Million Dollar View" description. The place was very clean, inviting, accommodating and beautiful! Appliances were very updated and snacks and treats were also left on the counter for us. Owner thought of everything to make this as pleasant as it was for us. We will definitely return again. Thank you

Great View and Location

House had a great view! Directly on the water. Good location close to all the main attractions. Kitchen was very spacious too. Areas of opportunity: The WiFi internet connection wasn’t good. Also it felt like every time we were outside we were being watched & recorded by the Ring cameras. Overall, we had a good experience.

The View and location are nice. But the deck was pretty filthy and neglected. Which was unfortunate because the view is great. We had to sweep off the cobwebs , move the dead plants around and search for cushions .

First time with VRBO

This was my first time staying with VRBO. It was a million dollar view. There were just a few minor things that were mentioned before on other reviews that were not taken care of such as the hole in the master bedroom door, the smell of sewage in the kitchen the garbage disposal area, and also the stairs down to the dock area didn't seem too stable. I would have liked to have seen the fountain on but I do realize it's earlier in the year. The owners may want to change the curtains because not all of them fully cover the bedroom area in the master bedroom. But I must say the house was lovely.

Good house with a lot of potential

House has an incredible view and a nice kitchen. Unfortunately, there were a lot of issues which didn't allow the property to live up to its potential. It's not kept to the best standards and some of the amenities in the listing aren't usable. After booked there were rule changes and dealing with Vacasa was incredibly frustrating.

The view is indeed beautiful from the high decks. I didn't realize how much I would miss a grassy or patio area closer to the water for relaxing until spending a few days at this location. Once you walked down the steps to the water, you were at the floating dock and there was no place to sit or hang other than to jump in the water. I did appreciate the amount of space in the home for our family and that basics were left in the bathrooms and kitchen. There was plenty of cookware and gadgets in the kitchen that were super helpful.

Beautiful home

The home was exactly as the pictures on website. Beautiful view of the lake. Cleanliness. Can understand why they tell you to park by the garage, driveway narrow & steep. Noticed that all the homes in that area had driveway issues due to the fact the road sits higher than the houses. Had difficulty with the keypad box checking in & upon leaving. For us was not user friendly, wondering if others had trouble? Contacted Vacasa for assistance regards to keypad. Checked out a day early because the weather had been rainy & cold for our entire stay.

Beautiful home. Less than ideal stay.

The house is lovingly decorated, is spacious, and sits on beautiful property. However, I have high standards and found the house to be in need of a good deep clean (hair in tub, visible dirt on walls and trim). The fireplace upstairs wasn’t working when we stayed, which resulted in us having to use the one space heater provided to stay warm (the house manual says not to touch the thermostat). We attempted to have Vacasa fix the issue, but the day came and went without anyone coming to resolve the issue (hours and three messages). Finally, I would have preferred to spend more time in the home, but there was noticeable cat hair on several pieces of furniture, and because I’m allergic to cats, we had to spend most of our time out of the house. If the issues were resolved, I’d come back based on the beautiful view alone.

Fantastic view, weak WiFi

The view of the lake from the deck and inside the house is stellar. If you’re going for the view, I can’t imagine much better. I needed to work remotely. I could only do that when everyone else disconnected from the WiFi. Even then, the Wi-Fi was weak and lost connection through out the day. It is not possible to have several users on that WiFi at once. The AC doesn’t have zones - it’s warm upstairs and cold downstairs. The outside areas were not cleaned. We cleaned them when we arrived and really enjoyed the outside space during our stay. The beds were very soft, which we all found uncomfortable. One of the beds had a queen mattress on a full box spring which really made it impossible for two people who don’t want to cuddle all night to share it.

Wasted Potential

The view is amazing (after we cleaned the glass), the home is nicely laid out, the furniture is mostly comfortable, and the location to the sights in the area is fantastic. The owner has not taken care to correct many issues mentioned in previous reviews. And they aren't things that would require a lot of effort and money - but it seems consideration for their guests is not the highest priority. The bed with the wrong sized box spring is still there. To me, this is egregious as it makes the bed nearly impossible to sleep in without one person rolling off. It's not that difficult to buy a queen sized box spring for a queen sized bed. The wifi is atrocious and shouldn't be listed as an amenity. The pictures are misleading as they have now locked off the game room on the lower floor. I expect owners to have private spaces but a locked up fridge, closet, and two bedrooms is overkill. The door in the master bedroom has a broken lock to the deck and won't open. Cleanliness is the real issue. We found rat droppings under the kitchen sink, in the laundry room and in the bedroom with no curtains (oh yeah, both bedrooms on the lower floor were blinded throughout the night by motion sensor flood lights triggered by squirrels). The cleaning service was quick to respond but didn't actually clean the mess up. There were still droppings behind after they 'cleaned'. The whole home is obviously just spot cleaned between guests. Definitely wasted potential because it could be stunning.

Has Potential….

This property has potential, but as so many have already stated there is a lack of responsibility by owners to make any changes. The inside is clean and comfortable, however the windows are filthy and outside grounds need much attention and deck is filthy. One bed has full mattress on a queen box spring making it very uncomfortable and easy to roll off. There are no curtains on some of the bedroom windows, and the ones that have curtains are so thin and light they do not keep the light out from the constant motion light going on and off ALL NIGHT. Many lights inside do not work- especially downstairs. We had to use our phone light to navigate to the bedroom when coming downstairs at night. The downstairs shower leaks all over the place making a slippery mess! During our second day, the ring security alarm and smoke detectors started going off. We were unable to silence them so called Vacassa management - they didn’t have the code and were also unable to silence it. It forced us to bring everyone outside- including my handicapped father and severely handicapped autistic stepbrother, who was freaking out by the noice. An hour later a maintenance person finally showed up and removed the alarms. Now we had no smoke or fire alarms upstairs. About 1am that night an alarm was going off, now downstairs. It was a low battery alarm . We got up and removed that battery. Half hour later another alarm. Took us 20 min to find the alarm on shelf. No effort to compensate was off

Selected this location for the view and it did not disappoint! A few things to note if you are staying here, there is no yard/grass if you are traveling with a pet. Wooded area along driveway works for potty breaks but if your pet needs grass this may not be a good fit. Motion lights are very sensitive so if you are a light sleeper you may want a mask. Oven did not seem to get to temperature so watch closely if using.

View makes up for it

Have to concur with some of the reviews regarding the cleanliness of the back deck and the poor Internet connection. That said, once you sweep the back deck yourself and realize that you should be out on the lake instead of surfing the web, you start to look past the imperfections. One of the best family vacations that I can remember.
