My Great Escape features a Smart TV with basic cable in living room with a Smart TV in the queen bedroom. Wireless internet access. Private ocean view balcony with furniture where you can relax and listen to the waves. Cold outdoor community shower available at each condo building. About 150 paces from the walkway to the beach. Seasonal community pool, covered picnic area with park grills. The condo community is just across the street from the Oak Island Golf Club and a short drive to Oak Island Lighthouse. Convenient to local restaurants, shops, parks and more.

The OIBV pool is open annually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Specific condo communities may keep the pool open past Labor Day depending on the homeowner's association's recommendation.

Great Location

The location was perfect for a beach vacation. We would visit again.

Made the best of what we had

Enjoyed our vacation but the condo was not cleaned very well. Through out the week we were constantly finding things that’s should have. Been cleaned that were not like dirty clothes in the rooms finger nails in the floor bathtub dirty. We weren’t able to use the patio easily as we would have liked due to not having a door handle which should have been noticed and we had to asked a couple times for it to be fixed. We had an extra fridge in the condo the whole time which we were told they were coming to get and never did. There were just boxes of flooring in the bedrooms just not what we expected to find when we got to the condo. Still made the best is the time we had
