"the lobby did not look like the picture- misleading. The rooms didnt look like the photos. the elevator was not working- I was on the 3rd floor. The matress was plastic and had no sheets or blankets. I immediately left and booked a room at the Best Western across the street."

"This is a lovely home! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The abundance of windows lets in so much natural light, making the space feel bright and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I could possibly need, which made my stay that much more comfortable.  The host was generous with bath towels and paper goods—these thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed and were truly appreciated. Throughout my visit, the host was incredibly accommodating and flexible, making the whole experience seamless and enjoyable."

"Days Inn was an ok hotel. The room had some stuff that needs to be fixed by maintenance and housekeeping isn't very good. There was a large hair in the freezer, the pillows had hair, in the bathroom on the floor was a piece of toilet paper it was dirty, there were what looked like crumbs on the bathroom floor. The room didn't have Kleenex I was looking for some and there wasn't a coffee maker which most hotel rooms have. It was an ok hotel."

"My room had a burn mark on the counter, the fan vent was falling off, the lights flickered in the bathroom when turning off, and I think there was mold growing in the air conditioner. The highway made the room super loud on top of the noise coming from inside the hotel."

"Here's a little ditty about John & Diane, 2 Vrbo hosts doin' the best that they can! John & Diane went above and beyond to accommodate our 9 day stay in Mckinney for our wedding. We traveled with 3 dogs so initially the fence to the outdoor pet area was too short for our pups. They ended up adding an extension to the fence to accommodate our needs so we booked immediately due to the fence & super-fast responses. The check-in was very easy, the location was ideal for our wedding "home base" & very close to Historic Downtown, the rooms were spotless upon check-in along with a kind note and gift welcoming us for our special stay. The décor was absolutely stunning & captured the theme of our Texas wedding perfectly!John & Diane checked in with us several times throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed which we definitely did since they thought of everything for us for our extended stay. They even recommended pet-friendly places to go with our fur babies. When we return to McKinney, we will surely stay at the Texas Bluebonnet Home again. Thank you again John & Diane for your professionalism and kindness!"

"All was great except breakfast was not ready as they said at 600. At 900 not fully ready. No waffles no oatmeal. Had to wait because I don’t like eggs and sausage and all the other available food. "

"Place was quiet and convenient. Had a short stay but was comfortable. If you are sensitive, their cleaning products are pretty strong. It’s hard to air out your room due to windows that don’t open so I had to prop my door for a bit. "
