The staff work hard. We are a large family and had different needs that the staff helped us with quickly and patiently. For example we have someone with a down feather allergy so needed different pillows. We got requests fulfilled right away.
The junior suite we had was nice. It was clean and had a balcony. The AC worked well. My critique would be that the beds and sofa bed were very soft. The sofa bed was sagging, but our small child who slept on it did not mind. I do wish our bathroom had a fan. The steam from our showers didn’t have anywhere to go except into the room.
Breakfast had a nice variety. The western breakfast foods changed a little each day. For example, one day it was bacon and waffles and another day it was Portuguese sausages and pancakes. There was always scrambled eggs, fresh fruit (cantaloupe, honey dew, and pineapple), bagels, yogurt, quick breads (like banana bread), cereal, and juice. Be careful if you have a nut allergy. The ingredients aren’t posted. So for example, the quick breads sometimes had nuts. I liked the Asian options which didn’t change. Everyday there was tsukemono (pickles), tofu, kimchee, miso soup, rice, and hard boiled eggs.
