"The hotel was very clean with a lovely environment. The staff (especially at the front desk) were helpful, friendly, polite and very knowledgeable about recommendations for the area. The property was well maintained and the views were beautiful and very accessible to many activities in the area. Looking forward to return in the near future."

"My daughter and I spent the night last night 7/12/26 in River Head and found the room clean and tidy, beds comfortable and we enjoyed the pool which was also very clean and well maintained. However, we could not get our TV to work and tried to call the front desk several times yet no one answered. We also noted a guest in Rm 205 left his room door open all day with the TV blaring all thru the night! When we used the pool we were in room 202 and there was a front door w/3 locks and a back door w/3 locks so we locked all 3 of the front door and when we went to open the back door on the pool side neither key we were given would work so had to call mgt. Other guests on our side stated they encountered the same issue and had to call mgt. Why doesn't this hotel use Electronic Keys like other hotels? This is a major safety concern! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

"I cannot say a bad thing. The room was immaculate. The pool was immaculate, it was fairly easy to get onto the beach. The town is a little bit of a walk just under a mile. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would consider going back in the future"

"The property was so clean, charming, and exceeded all expectations. The whole staff was so lovely and helped solve every issue above and beyond! We got locked out of our room and the front desk was closed but there was an after hours number that we were able to call and they virtually unlocked our door. So make sure you ask for that! And when our firewood took too long to be delivered, Vanessa generously offered to extend our stay an hour and refunded us for the logs. Melissa and Christine also were great and helpful at answering our questions! So special and we would stay again!"

"I have stayed here many times over the past years...I was not knocked out by the overall stay. They call themselves a resort and in a way they are but I question their ability to provide excellent service. On my arrival rgere was no bellman so thr shift manager helped me. When I checked in I was supposed to get a room with garden view and a queen bed. The first room that they gave me was windowless and very small. I was paying 800 a night for my room.and it was a mandatory 2 mights. Room service breakfast was 50 dollars and a drink( bloody mary) and a diet coke was 36. As for the pool there are no chairs because people can use a pool membership even if they weren't staying. I paid for it but there was no chair. The house phone doesn't work. I reported it to the front desk but nothing happen. The nicest and most helpful person was the bell man and the Friday manager. The feeling of comfort a attention seems to be taking a bavk seat By the way I also hosted a dinner at fresh salt...the restaurant on premise...that was perfect and the service was excellent. Maybe the desk should be trained by the resto front of house"
