The room walls were scuffed with black marks and the shower and sink were worn and chipped. The room carpet was old. The dinner at the grill was good and the included breakfast was good. The service staff were courteous and helpful.

Staying for a concert so wanted somewhere close to the venue so it was very convenient. The staff were lovely, so helpful and very kind. If I were to attend a concert in Nottingham in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

easy check-in, good location. there were a few stains around the room but overall appeared clean. tea&coffee available as well as a hairdryer, tv and free wifi. a bit of noise from the traffic outside as there’s a main road but it wasn’t horrendously loud.

We only stayed one night to watch a football match but it was reasonably priced and handy to the stadium. Nice clean place to stay in Nottingham. Would stay again.

WOULD GIVE 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD WERE IT NOT FOR THE SILLY DESIGN OF THE SHOWER. WHATEVET SETTINGS I TRIED, I EITHER GOT WATER WHICH WAS A BIT TOO HOT OR WATER WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY SCALDING. I HAD TO TAKE A BATH INSTEAD AS THE BATH WAS SERVED BY A COLD TAP AND A HOT TAP, WHICH ALLOWED ONE TO FILL THE BATH AT A SUITABLE TEMPERATURE. PERHAPS THE SHOWER SHOULD COME WITH AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL.

Great location in that it’s close to the station and really comfy bed. Water in the shower didn’t get hot enough for my liking which was a bit of a shame in an otherwise great hotel.

The hotel is within walking distance from the train station if necessary. We had booked as we were attending the Motorpoint Arena and the location is excellent for this. The staff were helpful and approachable. Breakfast was ok, restaurant was clean and enjoyed dinner on the evening. Room was sufficient and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely just use this hotel in the future if visiting Nottingham. Excellent value for money.

Was booked for work purposes so very convenient. VIP Access does not apply at this particular Leonardo Hotel but I was offered a room on the top floor. Very friendly staff on reception. Short but pleasant stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Leonardo Hotel in Nottingham. The staff were very friendly, very attentive and helped me when I needed it (I had to book an extra night due to train strikes). The room was a good size and had everything I needed in it. The breakfast was a nice selection of continental food and drinks;l waiting staff were again very nice and attentative. There was a gym, but I didn't get to use it (I did a lot of walking instead). The only bad things I can think of it the room was very cold (I like the cold, but it was freezing). I did turn up the AC, but it turned off after a short while and the room cooled down very quickly, I'm glad I bought my own blanket with me. In addition, the shower is eco and very over engineered it might as well've been a drizzle (I ended up filling the bath instead).

Not as good as expected
For the price, I expected better. The bathroom was very dated, with a very shallow bath and only one main light (e.g none over mirror). The room itself was fairly dated, with an old tv, and a very noisy / not very good heating system. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. There was no main light in the room, just a few scattered on the wall, so dark for doing make up etc.

Nice staff but freezing hotel with lots of the menu unavailable. Asked for blankets but hotel busy and none available so given old electric heater that made little difference

great stay
this was a good hotel to stay in close to were we needed to be. food in the bar area was good and hot. staff were friendly and helpful. if I had to pick a fault it was no parking and the nearest parking was a bit of a walk.

Its always freezing cold, the staff admited they try to save money by restricting the air con temperature. They usually have electric heaters but didnt have one spare this time so i slept in my hoody and beanie hat under the covers.
