Casino Trip

This property is perfect for a family stay and close to the casino which we went to. Everything was clean and described wonderfully. Off street parking which was nice as well. Host was very communicative and responded quickly.

Affordable and Convenient

We enjoyed our stay! The place was right off the highway and convenient to stores and casinos!! Very steep stairs access the bedrooms, and the ceilings on the upper level are slanted.

Plenty of bedrooms

Great communication, good location across from a pizza restaurant, check in was easy, 13 min to the casino if you like that, bedrooms & bathrooms upstairs have slanted ceilings.

Great home!

The home was easy to find, there was a small problem with unlocking the door but the host was very helpful. We weren’t aware that we’d be sharing a wall with the host (duplex style) but we honestly never heard the host!

Family visit

The house was cute and comfortable for our stay. The beds were comfortable , Linda is in property , friendly. And helpful. The house looks just like the pictures. Linda has 2 super cute and friendly dogs. The location is right off the freeway with easy access to the surrounding area.

Birthday weekend

The house is perfectly situated next to the highway, 7/11, Dunkin and was such an easy drive to the casinos. The beds were comfortable, with a large kitchen. It’s a perfect house for a great weekend getaway with family/friends. Highly recommend! And a big plus were the dogs next door!

Lovely place to stay, convenient

The puppies are also adorable. :) This was easy to find and accessible to where we needed to be. There is parking, but I will say it's sometimes challenging to get back out of the parking area. Nonetheless, I would happily stay here again, and the host was very kind.

Very Clear Communication

We were in town for a convention at the casino. It was close by, and even though we had to stay super late at the casino for the convention, check in was super easy. The place was cute and convenient. Her dogs are adorable and the rumba definitely accidentally scared us in the middle of us watching a horror movie 😂

Overall it was a decent VRBO. Beds were very comfortable but bedrooms did not have tvs and were smaller than pictured (had attic ceilings). Plenty of eating space and stocked well but seating in the living room was not comfortable for family of 4. Also did not realize that it was a 2 family and host was on the other side.

Brand new, convenient location

EVERYTHING is brand new. Furniture, appliances, kitchen, bathrooms, floors. Completely renovated. Host thought of everything that you could possibly need. Convenient location : easy on and off highway, restaurants, convenient stores, DD within walking or very short distance. Very busy road, but air conditioning mostly drowns the noise inside. Must love dogs. Owner has 2 sweet doggies that greet you coming and going, but very friendly. Overall, great experience, location and communication. Would definitely stay again.

Great weekend

Rented the house for a birthday casino trip. 3 couples. 6 of us were very comfortable. The host was great. Lots of new modern finishes and appliances. Very clean. Location was great. 10 min to foxwoods. Only thing was the stairs to go up to bedrooms are very short and steep. Pictures show the slanted ceilings in bedrooms so we were prepared for that. Will definitely book again if we had up that way. Great size.... clean and cozy for the price.

Great stay at this lovely home

We chose to stay at Linda's home for the close proximity to Mohegan Sun as we were going to the Carrie Underwood concert. Linda has done a fabulous job renovating her historic home. Yes the stairs are steep and the ceilings are low....those things come with a home like this. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is spacious. If we could wish for anything, it would have been to have one more chair for the living room. Linda is next door if there are questions. Her dogs are friendly and loved to greet us when they were outside. We'll stay again if our travels bring us in that direction!

Great place to stay with lots to do close by

Linda was great to work with and very quick to answer any questions we had. The house is cute, and she did a great job renovating, but has low ceilings over the beds due to the age of the home. It's really not an issue as long as you pay attention. It is on a fairly busy road, but we didn't really notice the noise inside the home. She provides all you could need (bedding, dishes, utensils, towels, etc.) and is not far from shopping, so it's easy to cook your meals at the house. The house is only 3 hours from the furthest tip of Cape Cod, where you can go whale watching, and it's a fairly pleasant drive. Boston is less than 2 hours away, or you can stay local and still have lots to do. We enjoyed our stay!

It served our needs well.

We knew this was an old factory worker home. We knew there were sloped ceilings upstairs. Not a problem for us. The walk in shower was a plus. Lots of towels available. Many partially used toiletries were available but we brought our own. The bed was comfortable. The old floors had been replaced . The bath and a half was a plus. New washer and dryer was great. There was plenty of room in the kitchen, dining area, and living room. More flatware would be useful. New appliances were very nice. There were only two of us so there was plenty of room. The living room furniture was not comfortable. The TV remote was hard to figure out. The Shark vacuum started in the middle night and we did not know what all the banging was downstairs. The unit is across from the fire department and the alarm went off during the night but when it stopped we went right back to sleep. Street noise was minimal. There is a nice park across the street and a pizza parlor across the street. There is easy access off the highway (I-395). The dogs were very friendly and greeted us each time we arrived back each night. Linda was very helpful if we had a question, otherwise she did not bother us. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.
