Check in was really painful.. really long line, 1 person working the counter. Took me about an hour to check in. Once I got to the room - I found couple of used towels in the bathroom 😖 hopefully it was just a hectic day but gotta do better.

Check out morning shower water was very cold. We did not complain because it was close to the check out time of 12 pm. We left without getting showers. First time this has ever happened at a Hampton Inn which is our favorite hotel.

I did not even stay at this hotel due to my not being able to check in until after a certain time. I arrived in DC at about 5 am and was told I could come in anytime. What is the point of a hotel if you can't check in when you arrive? I believe that humans should be allowed to check in whenever and 24 hours start then and there. I hated that I had to suffer financially and did not even get to experience the hotel.

Room was nice but stayed on second floor and it was noisy from people upstairs. They have down pillows which I do not like and u can hear a pounding noise from the elevator that kept me awake!!

Quick road trip to DC landed us here…. convenient location; this place was 25 mins from the downtown DC area which we originally wanted to stay however most hotel charges $50-60 per night for parking. Free parking at the Hampton!!!!

We were going to the casino. This hotel was clean, quiet, updated, & had free parking (which in the harbor, parking is never free @ the hotels-even if you’re staying in the hotel). Free Breakfast was a huge variety and felt very sanitary for buffet style. The casino is literally just on the other side of the river and the price difference is uncanny. We ate in Old town Alexandria which is an easy 5 minute drive across the street from the hotel. We drove to the National Mall which was maybe 20 minutes. Most of the staff were amazing. We’ll stay here from now on.

What I did nit like - there were people complaining of not getting their complementary breakfast at 10:01am. The notice in the elevator notes that breakfast is until 11am, but if you come at 10:01 it is already closed. However, at check in, front desk tells you the time when breakfast is open. But, if you get another notice that is contrary, it gets confusing.

Terrible customer service. I was there for just a few hours to rest for an early morning flight and asked for a quiet room. Was given a lower floor room facing a very busy highway. Despite hotel being almost empty. Didn’t want to go back to the front desk because the persons there were so rude. I am a diamond Hilton member. Don’t expect this type of service from a Hilton property.

ok it’s NOT in old town It’s close across a huge highway - the hotel entrance is right by an exit ramp and was very hard to distinguish and it was rush hour also - had to go around twice, creepy weird parking lot with no luggage carrier rack with wheels . I was upset as it WAS not what it advertised also breakfast was at 7:00 on sat not 6:00 disturbing - no coffee in lobby - I had 1 powdered coffee creamer in the room. I found and almond in my bed - weird not a bed bug but an almond - WAS not what it advertised not worth the 20.00 saving - deeply disappointed - an extra creamer was too exspensive - why the nut in my bed - the entrance from the highway -terrifying - not pleased
