"For a small island seperated from the mainland, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Clean, spacious rooms and the new, modern building made the difference. No mold or moldy smell in the rooms. Central AC cooled the rooms very quickly when needed. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel is situated in the middle of shopping and dining district, with many dining options nearby. Yet, when we closed the windows, we didn’t hear much noise. The cafes and bars remained open and bustling until 1-2am (summertime, I don’t know about winter). Friendly and helpful staff was also a plus. Breakfast wasn’t special, but good. I always appreciate eggs in the morning as they keep me full for longer. Both morning had a selection of eggs and cheese, olives, a few kinds of jams, some tomatoes and cucumbers. They also had local pastries for breakfast, and of course, yoghurt. "
"Second time at what should be called Diamond Pearl. The best that Chios has to offer without question. Yes there are a few minor issues but please stop with negative reviews which may erroneously persuade others to seek luxury accommodations elsewhere and will miss out. "

"The hotel is quiet and safe and the rooms are very clean. Transportation is very easy. The hotel staff is friendly. The rooms are high and spacious. The food in Chios is good. The sea is blue and clear like the whole Aegean. The beaches are wonderful."
"The stay was amazing. We had an issue with our next accommodation and the staff at the Delfinia let us book another night. One bummer was that the pool was broken the two nights we were there but it looked like a great place to hang out if it was working. It was apparently up and running the day we left. "
