A natural oasis and architectural wonder in Chapel Hill
10/10 Excellent
"Location: the area was quiet and wooded, feeling secluded yet still convenient to amenities. The grounds around the home were starkly beautiful. Too cold to take advantage of the fire pit, but we loved looking out the windows onto the woods. The airport was conveniently located as well.Home: perfect for 3 couples and a single friend. LOTs of space to lounge together or have some quiet time apart and alone to read. We used every inch of the well-equipped kitchen to make tons of comfort food (Wegman’s, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, ABC store close by). Coffee could be made with a Keurig or a drip coffee maker). Gas stove. Some of us used the rowing machine/Peloton bike upstairs, while others worked out on the couch watching tv, played Galaga or surfed the web.Water pressure was decent, water got hot—important for cold days/nights. Mattresses were nice and firm, pillows serviceable. My old head and neck will bring my own pillow next time. If/when we return, it’ll definitely be in the Spring when we can play pool outside or just sit and look at the birds/flowers/plants. HOSTS: They were very responsive to our messages and helped to make our reunion as seamless and enjoyable as possible. "
"Tiny Tarheel was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed for our trip to Chapel Hill. Everything was very neat and clean, our check-in was simple, finding it was easy (even in the dark), and our host always replied quickly to messages and made sure we had everything we needed. "
"Great location within The Governors Club. Clemson vs UNC Football game with golf on Friday. The golf course was walking distance. Short drive or Uber ride to downtown Chapel Hill and the stadium. The location was super close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Very clean, well maintained and extremely spacious! Great long weekend with friends. Plenty of space to play pool and watch games on multiple TVs. Lots of bedrooms with bathrooms for privacy. Highly recommend staying here if traveling to the Chapel Hill area! Beautiful community!"
