"Amazing 10/10 can’t wait to stay again! The hotel is beautiful and rustic our room was stunning with purple LED lighting for a nice calming evening vibe! Breakfast was unreal! Extremely accommodating with my partner not liking mushrooms or tomatoes and substituting him with extra of things he did like! Which I found extremely generous. Pool is a nice size for a couple and the jacuzzi is the largest I’ve been in lighting again was outstanding and the statues are beautiful! The sauna, steam room and ice room were a lovely size! Reception and staff were by far the most outstanding I’ve ever encountered answering every stupid question we both had with a friendly smile and always accommodating our request. The hotel is 15 min walk to the beach and a 10 minute drive away from the sea life centre which we utilised on our stay and made such a lovely evening! Thank you crown spa hotel! Xxx"

"We travelled as a family of 4 (including a tween and a teen). Our room had 2 king sized beds, a desk and a sitting area, which gave us plenty of room to sleep and hang out between activities. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with a nice walk-in shower and towel warmer. I was pleased to find an iron and hair dryer in good condition, as well as a nice selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We used the gym, which was also clean and had a good selection of equipment. The buffet breakfast in the morning had a decent selection, including gluten- and dairy-free options for me. The staff was friendly and helpful hotel-wide. The distance from the town centre is also perfect for walking to and from the hotel. We’ll definitely come back if we’re in the area!"

"As I was using my Tesco reward voucher from Clubcard I was restricted to mostly non branded hotels but chose Penny Hedge by Marstons Inns after reading reviews. Easy to book using the voucher and the price breakdown was clearly displayed meaning I knew what I was paying for beyond what the voucher covers. Friendly welcome from the staff, check in was easy and a table booked for that evening at the adjoining pub. It should be said that the reception/check in is in the pub itself - which is a separate building to the Inn, bar staff were quick to help us on arrival. Breakfast was plentiful, easy to book and paid for separately, extra pillows were provided within minutes of asking. Room was a twin with hanging space for clothes, desk, hairdryer and a note on the door saying iron/board available if needed. There is no lift - very secure building, my son loved that all the doors "tweeted" on opening/closing using the keycard. The single beds were narrower than we are used to but comfortable. Nowhere to hang coats in the room itself which surprised us so we used the double hooks on the back of the bathroom door so problem solved. If we had wanted our room serviced as were staying for 2 nights signs asked us to inform staff and display the door hanger. Hotel is 10 minute drive to Whitby town centre and harbourside - check out was easy and a reasonable 11am."

"Beautiful hotel inside and out. Easy check in, room was large, warm and the bed was very comfortable. Very clean and the staff were very well dressed and very helpful. We will be booking The Cedar Court Hotel again for our next trip. Food was excellent. "

"The hotel is ideally situated and close to the shops. Although there is limited parking, we managed to park on site. We didn't have dinner in the hotel, but we did have breakfast, which was very nice. We have visited Harrogate many times over the years and have always wanted to stay at the hotel. We have now done so - and will do again next time we are in the area."
