Quiet Vacation

We had a great week long stay at the lake house, and it was really nice. Right on the lake, we rented paddleboards, made great dinners and sat by the outdoor fireplace every night. The main living area is perfect for hanging out. When it’s sunny out, this is a perfect place to spend a week!

Wonderful vacation home!!

This beautiful home has everything for a relaxing vacation! The views are amazing from the beach and deck. The covered porch was great as we could sit outside even when a rain shower passed through. The lake water is clean and we were able to see the entire lake by using the paddleboard, kayak and canoe. We would definitely love to return for another vacation! Only thing renters should know is there is a picnic table by the lake, but you might want to bring beach chairs.

A Perfect Stay in a Gorgeous Home

When I say this is the dream vacation home I’m not exaggerating. We came during the first week of October - at the cusp of peak fall - and the lake was truly something out of a movie! Every color you could ask for spread out across the view. The house has kayaks and canoes at your disposal and taking a kayak out on the lake to appreciate the view is an unmatched experience. The house itself is decorated flawlessly, with beautiful rustic details from the fireplace, the brick, the barn doors and gorgeous woodworking featured throughout the house. The main living space is large and comfortable and the kitchen has every tool you could want, and lots of serving-ware. This would be an amazing location to host a family gathering like thanksgiving! The wrap around deck with egg chairs, built in benches and an outdoor table would be lovely to host dinner al fresco as well. We had rain for the entire stay unfortunately but it made for a beautiful and cozy getaway! My kids loved the projector in the basement where they watched several movies and ate popcorn made in the fancy popcorn maker! This home is worth coming to time and time again.

Great house!

We had a lovely 12 night stay here where we did a mix of vacation and work time. The work stations were great and offered a variety of cables. We also enjoyed having friends come up for 4 days and there was plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. The lights in the kitchen had some issues as they were LED and due to dimmer flickered constantly. The beds were comfortable but the sheets and towels could use an upgrade for the price being charged. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks…as well as all the wildlife we saw. Overall the house was wonderful and we were sad to leave it!

Great stay on the lake

The house was spacious for our group of 8. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils, gadgets and dishes you'll need. The outdoor space was great- with a deck and large table to eat outside, looking on to the lake. We loved being right on the lake and spent most of our time there. It was nice to have several kayaks to use and we brought our own SUP. The public beach is just across the way so you can take advantage of the floating dock. There was also a hiking/biking trail around the lake that we explored one day. Great communication and easy check in/check out.

Great stay!

Family of 7 had a wonderful stay in July. The home is warm, comfortable and relaxing. The best part was the fully stocked kitchen for a family that enjoys cooking. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Plenty for adults and kids to do from kayaking, canoeing, ping pong, toys and movie night on a big screen. The lake is a piece of heaven, so quiet and relaxing. Whether the weather is warm or cool and rainy, there is plenty to do at the house and in the local area.

Great Lake

House was very clean, updated and comfortable. Wrap around porch allows dining outside with partial water views. Lake was beautiful, nature everywhere. Plenty of Kayaks and Canoes available. Great firepit by the water for evening. Would definitely rent again.

Gorgeous property and location

Pros: the common areas, kitchen, and deck are amazing!! Access to the beautiful lake and wooded walks. So much to do if weather is good. Also excellent tv, grill, and kitchen layout for cooking. The best feature is that the beds are SO comfortable! Slept v well. Cons: the basement is hard to use, there are bugs so use/bring spray and candles. The house is stocked w cooking gadgets but there is not a lot of basics like foil, sugar, etc so bring those. Had a lovely few days, highly recommend. Also has volleyball net so bring a ball!

Beautiful waterfront home

The home is right on the water, as described. There is a steep path from the home to the water. At the water, there are about 5 kayaks (including a child’s kayak) and a canoe. There is also a bench at the water to sit and watch the children play. There is a floating dock at the public beach that is within swimming distance. The weather was horrible during our trip but the lake seems incredibly quiet. No motor boats allowed. We only saw a couple people on the lake during the one nice day we had during our stay. The main living area is open concept with plenty of seating, two very comfortable couches. There are sliding doors to the expansive deck from the living area. It allows for a nice cross breeze, since there is no air conditioning. The deck wraps around from the living area to the kitchen with multiple areas to sit, a portion of which is covered so we were able to go out on the deck in the rain without any problem. The bedrooms are spacious and the linens are new. All white comforters and sheets, super soft throw blankets, and an ample amount of towels. We never had to worry about a lack of towels or blankets. Downstairs is a game room and living area. We didn’t spend so much time downstairs. My kids found a spider and that was the end of that…. Every house has a spider or two, so don’t let that turn you away! There was plenty to do down there. A ping pong table, projector, card table and a bathroom. There was also a bonus room with an air mattress and tv, which we did not have to use. Our group was 8 and this home could certainly accommodate 12 and still have plenty of space, in my opinion. The location is convenient to Lincoln, the loon mountain area, maybe 12 mins away or so. The home feels secluded. We’ve stayed at homes before that appear secluded but then are merely feet from neighbors. That is not the case here. There is a home to the left, but there is plenty of scenery and space to create great seclusion. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home and believe others would feel the same!
