"My wife, pets and I had a wonderful week. Perfect accommodation, everything we needed was there, weather was fine apart from one day of rain… but that wasn’t a problem. It was quiet, neighbours lovely and really well positioned for the sea front and the main attractions. We hope to return soon. Thank you Carl and Vanda"

"A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby."

"What a fantastic stay. We chose this property as we needed to vacate our home whilst work was being done, but it ended up so much more than just a place to lay our heads. The location, near the main road was ideal, but actually very quiet, as it was set down a hill. Pauline, the owner, couldn't have been more accomodating, finding extra parking for us and sorting out things very quickly. The location was brilliant, especially for our 2 dogs who loved the peaceful walks in the near vacinity"

"Lovely property, decorated in a lovely way although strong smell of fish downstairs that would not go. The fridge smelt of fish and not sure if this was the issue or the damp and mould on some of the walls.The beds were not super comfy but fine for a few nights. Enough space for the family,we had a great stay, perfect location and property had been cleaned. We visited close locations, beadnell and bamburgh, and discovered seahouses beach which we loved.
