"The location is great. Close to downtown but without the traffic and noise. The pool was clean with plenty of chairs. I enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the pond drinking my morning coffee. Very peaceful. Rooms have a coffee pot, fridge and microwave. The towels are luxurious. So soft and thick. Bedding however definitely needs an upgrade. Pillows were flat, fitted sheet kept pulling off the mattress due to the slippery mattress cover. The mattress was okay but would have benefited from a quilted mattress pad. Would I stay again? Maybe, depending on how many nights."

"This cottage was a welcoming getaway for our family of four. We enjoyed our time fishing, kayaking and sitting out by the river while also being able to easily access downtown South Haven and the public beaches nearby. We were very comfortable during our stay and the owner was responsive when needed. Would definitely return to this property and recommend to others."

"Stayed for just one night and the accommodations were comfortable enough. You could hear lots of noise from other rooms but I was on the first floor and near the lobby which could be why. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty and dusty definitely not up to my housekeeping standards but for one night it was fine."
