"It was very different to register and obtain the keys in a building a quarter mile away from the room. I tried calling the motel several times the day before to confirm our stay but no one answered the phone. This is a bare bones motel but served our needs for the one night stay. I would stay again."

"This is our second time staying here and we will be coming back every year! We come to watch my best friend and her husband race at Brainerd International. The only complaint was when we went down for breakfast, we still had about 10 minutes before it ended but they were cleaning it out and unplugged the waffle maker in the middle of making a waffle, they took the syrup and utensils away while it was clear we were still getting our breakfast. Other than that, it was perfect!! "

"Absolutely awesome place. We would definitely go back. Two items to be aware of: 1. Do not turn onto the road with the laurel ln sign and dont trust google for the last turn. The owner answered immediately when we got lost and also clarified the listing. 2. The dock does not have cleats or pilons to tie a boat up to. "

"It was a perfect find!!! The cabins are all well maintained and the lawn area too. It is convenient to many attractions, restaurants, Walmart. Check out Safari North Wildlife Park. It is amazing. Also go to Ernie’s on Gull Lake and Zorbaz. "

"We stayed for our summer family vacation. We appreciated the modern cabin and being right on the lake. The lake was amazing… it was shallow and clear with a sandy bottom for a long ways out, our kids loved it! We do wish there had been a usable boat access closer by and bumpers on the dock so we could keep our boat tied up overnight. Management was quick to respond to the small issue we had and addressed our concerns right away. "
