"Cabin was extremely clean. Had everything you would want at your fingertips. Loved the compact kitchen with all the utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom shower had good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Cabin bed was very comfortable & plenty of blankets. Only small disappointment the kindling wood to use in the firepit was too wet to start a fire. Maybe an outside box to cover the wood to keep it dry would help."

"A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"Our stay over Memorial Day weekend was excellent. The house suited our family more than adequately and the boys loved they all could move around easily, and of course the hot tub for after our mountain hikes. "Started our stay with a great check in. Meet the GM who is a wonderful lady. We chatted a min or two. When we got to our room we were amazed of the space we had. It was clean. Yes a bit dated but very clean and inviting. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed they were correctly sized. We are bigger people and these were queen sized beds which make for plenty of space! Pool as great. Kids enjoyed swimming while we enjoyed the hot tub. Lots to do in the area, even though we were there for a basketball tournament. We needed another blanket and they quickly brought one to us, with a smile! Thank you for the stay. "
