The Hotel was clean. Parking was easy.
The rooms were a bit out of date - they were redoing the entire floor below us.
They were accommodating to allow us a later check out with our baby so he could nap.
Overall it was a good experience.
Having the suite function is nice. The hotel is older and shows it in spots. The elevators are terribly slow. The water feature in the lobby is attractive but means the lobby tends to be very humid. Probably not bad for the price but certainly leaves much to be desired.
We stayed for 3 days 2 nights. We were able to check in a little ealier then 3pm which was great... The hotel was not hard to find.. We had a balcony which was nice but where our room was it was no view but it was nice to be able to step outside. I would like to see upgrades to the furniture. no microwave or refrigerator which would be very helpful for leftovers. The bed was comfortable and if I wasn't on vacation I would have stayed in the bed all day.. Overall it was a great experience and I would stay again
Although North Fort Lauderdale is mostly residential, many visitors go to enjoy the surf at Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach. Abundant marine life in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea makes for excellent diving. Just north of downtown, Wilton Manors is a well-known gay enclave. In Coconut Creek, butterflies, parrots, and hummingbirds fly freely at Butterfly World, the world's largest butterfly park.
