"The hotel is overall an older hotel. The staff and management try their best, but it is old. While the hotel is dated, it was clean. The staff is very friendly. The food is all right. We were here March 2026 during spring break time. The hotel was relatively busy. The location is central to Montego Bay, but not a lot to see other than the beach right across the street. The beach right across the street is lovely and beautiful. We paid $250 a night for two people. The overall value was good."

"First and foremost I just want to say if you aren’t booking with Expedia, you need to start! My stay at Moon Palace was such a pleasure! From the cleanliness of the room/resort all the way to the staff! Everybody was extremely helpful and kind. Huge thanks to Expedia for the complimentary room upgrade and the sweet surprise in my room! The view of the ocean from my balcony room was absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend anybody visiting Jamaica to stay at the Moon Palace. Thank you for such a lovely experience!"

"I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves one. We’re not typical all-inclusive travelers we usually prefer more peaceful, elevated resorts without everything bundled in. Jamaica has been calling me back, and it was between here and our previous stay at Montego Bay Hilton Rose Hall… after this trip, there’s no question we’ve found our place. The service was exceptional. Truly. The personality of the staff makes all the difference, and they exceeded every expectation. Shamone at the first-floor bar is a must visit as soon as you arrive ask her for “The Huh” and thank me later. Upstairs at MVP, Meggon and Shamar are absolute stars and bring such effortless energy to the space. Our children had an amazing time with the games and activities as well. Be sure to visit The Reef, the oceanfront buffet it’s a bit more relaxed than the main buffet and such a beautiful experience. The only note I’ll mention is the beach entry it looks inviting, but it’s quite rocky underfoot. Swim shoes make all the difference. Once you’re past the shoreline, it’s perfect and honestly, that’s just nature doing her thing. We’re already planning our return and can’t wait to experience the bungalows as a couple."

"Perfection!! My sister and I enjoyed a girl's getaway week. The room was wonderful with a beautiful view of the ocean and property, the food choices were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time soaking up sun on the beach!! But most of all, every member of the staff was so pleasant and friendly; never did we encounter anyone unpleasant. We have already made the decision to return!"

"I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The toilet in my initial room was clogged, and no one assisted me until the following day. Maintenance came out four separate times but was unable to fix the issue. On the second day, I was moved to another room; however, I did not receive any housekeeping service for the remainder of my stay. Whenever I requested towels, staff would tell me they were not assigned to my area and that I needed to contact the front desk. Unfortunately, the front desk rarely answered calls, and when I was finally able to reach someone, it took a long time for assistance to arrive. My room door was opened while I was in the shower. Additionally, I informed the excursions staff that I was booked through Expedia, but my Expedia points were never applied. Overall, the lack of responsiveness, poor communication, and unresolved maintenance issues made for a frustrating experience."

"Excellent stay at the Princess. My only recommendation is to have a hot tub or two. Having a pool with jet but water is cold defeats the purpose. Additionally charging for room service does not allow for the adult only feeling. "

"Need more activities, what we saw was not enjoyable. Food was okay. On Sunday we had to leave because there was no electricity or water."
