GA Palace was a beautiful hotel with beautiful furnishings. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough. I would go back and stay at the GA Palace in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at the hotel, the staff were always friendly, polite and very helpful. As it was very hot we made great use of the pool. The bar was a fun place to watch the World Cup and meet other guests. We loved the decor and fun touches. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A relaxing and pleasant atmosphere with a great little bar downstairs. The breakfast was the best out of all places that I stayed. The hotel has a shuttle service to and from the airport which is very good

Great location across the bridge from the old town with access to restaurants, transport and sites. Hotel has great views. Room and amenities great. We watched sunsets from both bars. Lovely stay!

Although the property is almost very good in all espcets, the access from street to its front door is a bit difficult because it is high above street level, and only steep stairs or a long cobblestone driveway leading to its front door, not friendly for carrying luggages to its door, though a friendly staff memeber did help us carrying our suitcase to its front door. Appreciated

The hotel is beautifully designed to take full advantage of its stunning surroundings amongst the vineyards of the Douro Valley, and there are magnificent views from its many expansive terraces and communal areas. A highlight is also its own huge parklands, through which one can stroll all the way down to the river. Our room was very spacious and modern, with all the amenities one expects from a 5-star hotel. However, to us, a downside was a feeling of it being over-serviced. Perhaps it is...

Hotel was fantastic, staff were lovely and breakfast was great being delivered. Location is slightly out of town but uber is extremely cheap and worth it for the beautiful rooms. Would return again.

Had a room with a great view.The staff were very friendly and helpful .Great to have a choice of outside pool or inside pool.Would strongly recommend this hotel .Ian and Linda

You cannot fault the location and amenities but the the staff were beyond faultless… never before had we had 100% of staff out to the general manager just amazingly professional and friendly. Wish we could rate higher than 5/5😅🙌

The rooms were clean and staff were kind and professional. Breakfast was a bit slow but the selection was good.
