Book a Normangee Cottage

"It was just as expected. Front desk was efficient, checked us in and out quickly. The beds were comfy, room was clean, hotel was well maintained. Offered us a later check out time. Plenty of parking, even had an electric car charging port! The breakfast was nice for what it was. The mass produced aluminum tray of scrambled eggs had flavor. I didnt have a sausage patty but it was a nice option. We loved the waffles, Texas shaped or four minis, with syrups, jams, peanut butter and nutella options and there were muffins. There was cereal with milk, coffee with half and half or flavored milk packets, yogurt and fruit. Theres really nowhere within walking distance to eat, but our room had a fridge and a microwave which we found helpful. The bathroom had a coffeemaker with ground coffee packets and a blowdryer. The place was quiet, but the train rolled thru a few times during the night. Not an issue for me, as i find it soothing, but someone else might not like it. "

"The room was nice and updated, but they need some new AC units. It blew cold just not hard enough to really cool down the room."

"Great property. Isolated. Nature/birds. Pictures don’t do it justice; much better in person. Home was extremely spacious. Comfortably fit 3 adults 4 children. Wish we spent more time at the property itself because of how beautiful it was. Host is kind and friendly, always available via text message. Location is far from common areas (college station)- which was about a 45-60 minute drive. Was not an issue for us, though. Roads are dark when driving late at night. Overall, great stay! Highly recommend. "
