About this property

Lake-view deck and 2 king suites on a 180-acre Duck River ranch, fishing

  • A 4-bedroom, 3-bath house with two main-floor king bedrooms and a back deck that looks out over the lake, on Riverbend Ranch, a 180-acre working cattle ranch wrapped on three sides by the Duck River in Normandy, Tennessee. A good fit for two couples or families traveling together, wedding guests and small retreats.

Inside, an open living room with a streaming TV runs into a dining table for eight and a full kitchen with an island. Out back, the deck has an outdoor dining table and string lights.

Bedrooms: two king bedrooms on the main floor. Upstairs, two bedrooms with two full beds each, joined by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. There is also a half bath on the main floor, walk-in closets, and a utility room with a washer and dryer.

Your stay includes use of the ranch, shared with other guests staying on the property: over a mile of Duck River frontage for fishing, fly fishing, kayaking and floating, a stocked lake and ponds (bass, bluegill and catfish, catch and release, no license needed; the river requires a Tennessee license), a basketball court, BB gun range and fitness center. Meet the horses and cattle over the fence. A riverside bonfire pit is available on request.

Streaming TV over WiFi, no cable. Paved road to the ranch, gravel roads on the property.

Just over an hour from Nashville and BNA. About 30 minutes to Jack Daniel`s in Lynchburg and Nearest Green in Shelbyville. Groceries are about 15 minutes away.

Riverbend Ranch & Retreat is a nonprofit, and every booking funds no-cost retreats for pastors and ministry leaders. We live on the property and are easy to reach.

Parking for several vehicles at the house. Trailer or camper parking is available on request.
No smoking. No pets. No gatherings or visitors beyond registered guests unless approved by management. Maximum 8 guests. Check-in is 3 pm and check-out is 11 am. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am. Please drive 15 mph or less on the property. Please stay out of the animal enclosures and respect areas marked private. Anyone under 18 around any body of water must be supervised by an adult. This was a fantastic stay! Stunning property even in the “off season”; the home was well equipped, very comfortable and suited our needs exceptionally. The host was responsive, helpful and went over and above. We enjoyed the horses, the river, the grounds and the home felt like home!

The check-in was awesome. House was clean. Home was located close to our job which made it easy to get to and from. It was nice to have a place to cook and not need to go out for every meal! I would recommend this place to my friends.
