Away from it all...
Away from it all, this house is a perfect escape. With nothing but the ocean in front of you, it is the ultimate relaxation experience. The stars at night are breathtaking. The house itself is well designed, and has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped and is clearly designed with much love. The inside grill is perfect for the fresh local fish. The outside terrace is big and very comfortable, many happy hours there. The outside shower (there is also an inside one) with the view of the ocean is a touch of genius. Thank you to the owners for sharing this magical spot with us.

Photos cannot fully capture the magical experience of staying here. Once you descend the steps, you feel you are alone amidst the majesty of the ocean and nature itself. The house is filled with many details that enhance the comfort of your stay.

A beautiful house with an amazing view!
A beautiful property built into the cliffs with a most spectacular view! The house is well appointed and only a short drive to Nordeste where there is a good butcher, fishmonger and mini mart. We loved the feeling of being so close to the sea and to nature. Alain was a lovely host giving us lots of tips. All in all an amazing place to stay!

Traumhafter Ausblick
Wir haben jeden Tag in diesem Ferienhaus genossen und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Vom Sonnenaufgang am Morgen, bis zum Absacker auf der Terrasse mit diesem grandiosen Ausblick am Abend. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und es fehlte uns nichts. Gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns 2 Wochen sehr wohl gefühlt, für Naturliebhaber bestens geeignet. Anfragen an den Gastgeber Alain wurden sofort beantwortet. Seine Tips im Voraus per Videocall waren super. Für uns war ein Mangel bei 5 Personen die innenliegende Toilette, die vom Standard überholt werden könnte. Der fantastische Blick und das gepflegte Grundstück sind herausragend.

Secluded paradise with incredible sea view!
If you are looking for a quiet place by the sea to get away from it all and recharge your batteries, this is the ideal spot! It's truly magical to stay so close to the sea and wake up to the sunrise over the ocean. The house is remote but the size of the island allows you to explore the whole island from there. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Beira Mar. Schöne Aussicht, gemütliche Schlafbereiche, gute Ausstattung und super Reisetipps im vorangegangenen Zoom-Call. Leider hatten wir während unseres Aufenthaltes ungebetene, tierische Gäste, die unsere Stimmung während des Aufenthaltes etwas trübten. Darum kümmert sich Alain wohl demnächst.

Eine Woche Meer
Die Lage ca. 40 m über dem Meer ist wirklich einzigartig, man wacht morgens mit einem Blick auf das Meer und den Sonnenaufgang auf. Abends kann man mit Blick auf das Meer Abendessen. Natürlich hört man das Meer deutlich, vor allem wenn der Wind auffrischt donnert die Brandung unter uns. Alain empfahl uns Ohrenstöpsel - wir haben sie aber nicht gebraucht ;) Alain hat das alte kleine Haus - das im Inneren weiter besteht- deutlich erweitert und die gesamte ehemalige Veranda eingehaust. Zudem hat er einen neuen Außenbereich geschaffen auf dem es sich sehr gut chillen läßt. Küche war für uns sehr gut eingerichtet, die Pfannen nicht verkratzt und die Messer scharf. Alain war jederzeit sehr (!) hilfreich zu erreichen. Die sehr hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit setzt natürlich Menschen und Häusern zu. Wir waren aber noch auf Faial, dort war es ebenso. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr eindrucksvolle Woche auf Sao Miguel und in Nordeste.

Super sejour a Beira Mar
Très satisfait de notre séjour La maison est très agréable et bien équipée. Quel bonheur de prendre une douche en exterieur avec la vue sur l'ocean! Alain a été très serviable, il nous a présenté l ile avant notre arrivée et nous a donné de tres bons conseils. Il faut absolument être véhiculé car l'emplacement est très reculé.

We had a wonderful stay. Very relaxing in a breathtaking nature! The terrace is an oasis and Alain is very friendly and helpful. The house is very well equipped also for kids. Only the bathroom wasn't that nice. Nevertheless a little paradise and we are very thankful for this greatful holidays. 5⭐

Erholung pur in toller Umgebung
Wir haben die 2 Wochen in vollen Zügen genossen. Und ja, es ist dort so schön wie auf den Bildern! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und super ausgestattet mit vielen kleinen Annehmlichkeiten, sodass man auch bei Regentagen gemütlich vom Sofa das Meer anschauen kann und sich nicht langweilt. Die Lage ist ein kleines Paradies, Sterne gucken, Wellen (und Vögel) hören und sehen, Sonnenaufgang anschauen - und das alles vom Bett aus, unvergesslich. Ja, man muss ggf etwas länger fahren, um sich etwas anzuschauen, uns war es das auf jeden Fall wert. Wir sind nie Essen gegangen, weil wir es abends auf der Terrasse so schön fanden. Im Vorfeld haben wir von Alain eine kleine Einführung in das Haus und die Insel bekommen, das war sehr hilfreich, danke dafür. Und bei Fragen bekamen wir immer umgehend eine Antwort. Wenn noch einmal Sao Miguel, dann auf jeden Fall in diesem Haus.

Wonderfull house with amazing view
This place is truly amazing. A short walk from the parkingspace (100 meters) brings you to the house that is built on the rocks above the ocean. The view is impressive. The house has everything you need and is very well suited for working as well as relaxing. Even the bed has a sea view. We definitely hope to return some time.

Great Beachhouse
Vanuit de poort loopt het tuinpad 5 á 6 meter naar beneden via de tuintrap naar het huis en het terras. Het voorste gedeelte van het terras leunt op palen over de helling van waaruit je neer kunt kijken op de rotsen in de branding van de zee zo'n 25 met lager. Links en rechts de kliffen die honderden meters hoger gaan. Het uitzicht is adembenemend mooi en na zonsondergang werd ik dankzij een heldere hemel en de afwezigheid van lichtverstrooiingen getrakteerd met het melkwegstelsel om me heen. Wat een toplocatie! De Beachhouse is simpel en heeft geen grote luxe maar is schoon. De basis (elektrische) apparaten zijn aanwezig. De masterbedroom kijkt ook uit over de zee en het bed was zeer goed. Om bij de parkeerplaats zo'n 100 meter van het huis te komen, daal je vanaf de hoofdweg een kronkelweg naar beneden af. Zorg dat je een beetje een sterke auto hebt of volg de huurtips van de host. De host Alain is ons vanaf begin tot eind zeer behulpzaam geweest!

Bel endroit mais lodge infesté de souris qui nous a gâché le séjour. Elles sont dans la cuisine, dans la chambre, il y avait des * de souris sous les oreillers en arrivant, il y en a partout dans la cuisine. Nous avons préféré écourter notre séjour dans ce lodge pour prendre une location ailleurs.

Unglaublich tolle Lage
Schöner kann ein Ferienhaus nicht liegen. Beira Mar liegt recht abgeschieden direkt an einer Steilküste. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Eigentlich kann man den ganzen Tag am Balkon sitzen und nur auf den Atlantik schauen und dem Geräusch der Wellen lauschen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und es gibt alles was man braucht. Alain ist ein absolut unkomplizierter Gastgeber mit tollen Tips für einen super Aufenthalt auf Sao Miguel. Es war für uns alle ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt.
