The "Zum Eisenlager" holiday rental was completed in February 2020. This high-end, fully furnished holiday rental has everything you could want. Large windows at the entrance and on the terrace side create a bright and welcoming atmosphere. On the ground floor, you’ll find an open kitchen with a large dining area. In the living area, a modern sofa set invites you to enjoy cosy evenings watching TV on the flat-screen set. From the living room, you have an unobstructed view of the large garden with a lawn for sunbathing. From here, you can step out onto the terrace, which is perfect for getting some fresh air and soaking up the sun. The view of the open countryside is wonderfully relaxing. The bright bedrooms are located on the upper floor: one bedroom with a double bed (180 x 2 m; a large sheet is required), a closet, and a flat-screen TV, and another bedroom with two single beds. From the bed, you have a fantastic view of the fields. The windows can be darkened using electric blinds. The name of the holiday rental has a historical background: the newly built structure, which houses a total of three holiday rentals, was originally the old Prahst village blacksmith shop. The property includes a 1,000-square-meter lot. Bicycles you bring with you can be stored in the adjacent bike shed. Wi-Fi is available! Your dog is very welcome!

The village of Leybuchtpolder is part of the city of Norden and is located about 3 km from Greetsiel. The fishing village is just a short bike ride away. The city of Norden and Norddeich are also a quick drive away. Leybuchtpolder has 463 residents spread out over a large area. The centrepiece of the village is the man-made village pond. The village also has a church, a sports field, a gym, and a school. At the Eschenhof restaurant, you can enjoy regional dishes. Various farms offer their products (eggs, potatoes, vegetables, honey, jam) for sale.
