"We only had one night in Ribe with our two teenage children, so wanted accommodations with plenty of space. Storkesøen was perfect! We had a large a-frame cabin with three bedrooms and a full kitchen. it was so nice to hit the grocery store and be able to come back and make dinner and breakfast. Kitchen was well-equipped with all the basics. We did have to pay additional per person rate for linens (bath towel and sheets) but traveling from overseas it required. "Heidi’s place is just perfect in every way. The location is a dream - just the view out the window is dreamy. You’re right in the middle of all the wonderfulness that is Ribe. The place is immaculate and well furnished and warm …. As mentioned in other reviews, if steep stairs between bedroom and bathroom are not your thing, this place won’t be for you. But we were immensely happy here and would stay again absolutely. "

Teilweise Schimmel in den Fugen der Nassbereiche, Möbel und Sofas sind sehr abgewohnt! 3 Grills verfügbar jedoch nicht zu benutzen. 2 Liegen kaputt. Auf beiden Terrassen wächst das Unkraut. "Ein kleines gutes Ferienhaus, welches ausreichend ausgestattet ist. Aber es mieft/stinkt. Die Ursache scheint ein Schrank im Wohnzimmer zu sein. Das verdirbt einem jedes mal das rein kommen. Mit dem Kamin muss man ohne Beschreibung klar kommen, aber er bollert ordentlich. Ein Klimagerät hängt an der Wand, falls es mal schnell warm werden soll. Oder kühler. Nicht wundern- das Teil braucht nach dem einschalten 5-8 Minuten bevor es heizt oder kühlt. Sagt einem auch keiner. Ansonsten waren wir...

"Das reetgedeckte Ferienhaus hat eine tolle Lage auf einem sehr großen Grundstück. Es ist gemütlich & praktisch eingerichtet. Es ist schon etwas älter. Das Bad ist sehr einfach und schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Manches könnte ihm Haus etwas modernisiert werden. Dennoch ist es ein gemütliches Ferienhaus, in dem wir uns wohlgefühlt haben."

Locked out of hotel on cold night.
"I phoned the hotel at 14:30 on my day of arrival, as I would not be arriving until shortly after 20:00. I was told that the keys would be left in a locked box, and I was given the code. When I got to the hotel, although I could open the box, the keys were not there. Another couple who were staying there said the same had happened to them and gave me the contact telephone number. When I called, it was a prerecorded message in Danish, but no one answered. I was locked out of the hotel with no idea what to do. Thankfully, there was a lady down the road who knew the owner's phone number. She called her, and it was arranged that someone would bring the key. Had I not approached this very kind lady, I would not have had anywhere to stay. I have not received any apology. The hotel has a strange smell in the public areas. Although there is a pub attached, which is also the 'reception' for the hotel, it closes at 15:00, meaning no staff are available after that time if anything goes wrong. You can't leave your luggage at the hotel if you want to pick it up after 15:00, as there's nobody there. The breakfast is poor. There is a cold buffet and eggs and bacon kept warm on a single plate over a candle."
