"For what it is, this is a nice characterful country home stay with strangers. However, it is not what I expected from the description on Expedia. Firstly, from a British perspective, this is not a ‘bed and breakfast’ but a hostel. "The service in front desk and especially in the outstanding breakfast area was superb and breakfast was best ever. "

"We had an ok one-night stay, although we didn’t really get to see the manor house. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Cozy julbord / Christmas buffet, although only water was included in the price. Breakfast could be better - only cold cuts, bread, cereals and yogurt. I missed some warm dishes like eggs and maybe bacon. Otherwise, it’s an ok stay. "
