About this property

Converted barn with grass roof in Lindesby

  • You'll be staying in a converted log barn with a thatched roof, surrounded by cow pastures and meadows. From the outside, the house looks like a traditional red barn, but inside you'll find modern finishes and fresh decor. A crackling fireplace and large glass doors opening onto the patio's rural views create a relaxing atmosphere.

The ground floor features an open-plan layout with double-height ceilings in one section, creating an airy and spacious feel. Here you’ll find the living room, dining area and kitchen with a kitchen island. A spiral staircase leads up to three bedrooms on the upper floor. Upstairs, there’s also a half-bath, while the bathroom with a shower is located on the ground floor.

The house sits secluded in the small village of Lindesby, with no other houses or roads in sight. Just around the corner are forests and several lakes perfect for hiking, swimming, fishing, and mushroom picking. You've got nature right outside your door.

The wooden town of Nora's just 20 minutes away and attracts visitors with its charming restaurants, vintage railway and lively town centre. Other attractions in the area include Grythyttan, the Kindla Nature Reserve, Bredsjö Ostkafé and Kottaberget.
