"I had booked a Double Cabin, 1 Queen and 1 Bunk bed at check in we were advised that the booking was for 2 and not 3. We had to pay an additional $25 for our son to stay and were given sheets. We then had to make up the bunk bed. I would have thought paying the extra cost would include for them to make up the bed. I thought kids stayed free with existing bedding but was not aware that it did not include linen! Besides that, the room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. The beach was down the road and shops nearby. The cabin decor could do with a refurb. For the price its average, we had stayed in luxury hotel on the beachfront cheaper than the cost of one night here! Besides that Cabin was comfortable. We just wished the whether was better, it bucketed with rain non stop so we could not enjoy the pool and amenities."
"Reception staff were lovely and really helpful. They went out of their way to meet our requests and we were grateful to be granted early check in as well as a small change to the bedding configuration to better suit out group.
The unit was modern, spacious and well appointed. This resort has pretty much everything you could desire - huge swimming pool, public spa and located within a minutes walk to the beach. We had a beach house which had a lovely hot tub on the roof as well as a second private spa in the main bedroom. Both were well utilised.
Location is great with fairly direct beach access (no need to cross a road) and easy access to Mudjimba. It is below the flight path. Personally we enjoyed this but it might not be to everyone's tastes. Our group had fun plane spotting from the hot tub!
If you are staying more than a weekend it would be advisable to BYO toiletries, dishwashing supplies etc.
The only small improvements that could be made would be to the occasionally sketchy wi-fi and a little more attention to cleanliness. For example, the front of the toilet door was clean on one side but when it was shut there was a noticeable amount of dirty brown finger marks. Overall though the unit was clean and tidy so these were minor things in an otherwise wonderful stay. We would definitely love to stay again! We were a group of adults but we all commented that it would be a great stay with kids (there is even a skate park across the road!). Highly recommended."
"Lovely property and we enjoyed our stay, but knowing what we know now, if we returned we would ask for the following:
- An upper level room. Ground floor rooms hear every footstep from above and if people are early risers or night owls, you will need earplugs to sleep.
- A room with a comfortable couch. Our unit had what I can only describe as outdoor furniture as their lounge suite. It looked great but was very uncomfortable and not a place to relax in the evening.
- A room away from restaurant. The noise from diners and the cooking odours were off putting.
Otherwise we had a lovely time. The staff were exceptional and the grounds beautiful."
