"Great location and great price point. If you plan to explore Portland Maine, the hotel is well situated in nearby mall, food, and other establishments. Parking is free. If you're looking for a place to stay overnight (when most of the day you're out exploring Portland), I would recommend this hotel, rooms are clean and great service. Breakfast are breads, cereals and coffee but can't beat the price vs other hotel nearby."

"Outside trash bins over flowing, cigarette butts all over ground, dog feces not cleaned up, sidewalk and gazebo area with lose rock where cement had deteriorated. Not a great visual first impression and not addressed quickly. Nice that rooms have some cookware dishes etc, but would sure be nice to have a small knife to cut instead the big one, Some kitchen shears maybe on a chain screwed into the wall if worried about theft. More information on what is available to purchase or to borrow as those were great, but I did not happen on some of it until I had stayed several days or already purchased items. Would have been nice to be able to purchase some items in small quantity such as a baggie with 3 or 4 packets of catsup, mustard, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and small tubs of peanut butter and jelly. small containers of cooking oil. more than one kind of laundry detergent (some for sensitive skin) dryer sheets. I hated that I ended up throwing away lots of food items due to not being able to buy small enough amounts for my needs from the grocery store."

"Picked hotel because it was pet friendly , close to Portland (15 min), and more affordable than in the city. We got there half hour early and the front desk was very helpful and checked us in early. We got a room on 4 th floor, a bit incovenient with the dog going up and down the elevator several times a day. After reading other reviews, I decided to bring my own towels, toiletries and hair dryer. The room didn’t have any. Front desk guy was helpful and provided 2 towels. Room was clean, AC worked well, comfortable bed and pillows, blinds blocked light well enough, several hangers were available. They also had a laundry basket. Kitchen had all appliances advertised, several clean dishes in the dishwasher (breakfast bowls, glasses and some utensils), also a kitchen towel, but no tissues or soap in the bathroom. Small grassy area around the back door for dogs, with poop bags and garbage can. The water fountain wasn’t working that well, barely a trickle, took a while to fill up half the bottle, but they had a stocked vending machine. When we got there on Fri afternoon , there was plenty of parking, but by Saturday it got busy, less spots to pick from when we got back late at night. It was pretty quiet, considering they seemed full. Coffee available in the morning by the front desk, but not that good, and no milk, only creamer. Coffee shop 10 min walking distance, with several choices of bagel/biscuit sandwiches, very generous portion of eggs, good croissant. Would recommend."

"Very clean and beds were very comfortable. The beds had normal size pillows, and duvets. The stay was fine, front desk and staff were very nice. But even with the air condition on in the room for some reason it was extremely humid and muggy in the room. More so than outside. the weather was great. The bathroom light didn't work only the shower light, and the restaurant wasn't open anytime we were awake.if they were, it must've been very early in the morning, for a very short time because we were there all day for 3 nights, and there was nothing going on in the way of food or restaurant. We went out at night and came back and there was nowhere to get any food, except snacks in the lobby. It wouldn't be a problem, but when I read about the hotel it said there was a fantastic restaurant. Maybe I read wrong but I do love Marriott. It was just unfortunate. Next time we may stay in a different Marriott."
