"This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is beautiful, overlooking the ocean and a rocky cove with clear water. The onsen was clean, with nice amenities and the same gorgeous views. The breakfast and dinner buffets were wonderful, and the futons were fluffy. Murayama San at the front desk was very kind and helpful. We would love to visit again! "

"We got a suite with a private jacuzzi on the balcony - the view was great, but the place is falling apart a bit. The tub was leaking in places and had a slime-y residue inside, and multiple floorboard soft the balcony were rotted through and gave way underfoot. The photos here aren't quite reflective of the property's current state. Even in the public onsen, the windows are covered with salt on the outside, obscuring the view. Beautiful place and the food they serve was good, but some updates...

"A magical experience. From the moment we were picked up from Mishima station by the free hotel shuttle, to the time we left, it was all amazing. The hotel has a stunning position on the cliff edge overlooking the sea and sitting outside on a wintry evening with a glass of wine and our feet in the warm foot bath, watching the sun set over the water, was one of the highlights of our time in Japan.
