Taito5 nights4.0 star property9.6/10 - Exceptional (466 reviews)"The location is very good - a walking distance to several tourist attractions, excellent cafes and coffee shops. A great advantage is to have a supermarket right across the road from the hotel (1 min walk). The room was nice, very comfy and clean. Good public transport system - easy to get from the airport, and also get around as there is a connection station about 3 mins walk from the hotel. Highly recommend."Reviewed November 2, 2026Return • Auckland (AKL) - Tokyo (HND)AKL - NRT • 1 stop NRT - AKL • 1 stopNZ$4,463NZ$3,072found 1 day agoper traveller - Nohga Hotel Akihabara Tokyo

"Very nice property. The home is very clean and rather spacious. Very close to nearby public transport which makes it very easy to get around. Location is rather walkable as well to other restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoyable more immersive experience to the neighborhood. There's a great little coffee house literally seconds away. Lovely amenities in the home. Personally loved the shower and large bathtub. The beds were good, but were very loud and creeky even with subtle movements. Since there...

"Very clean and modern, in a great location for the Hakone loop. The beds are VERY uncomfortable- both the futons and the single beds which are soooo noisy it’s impossible to sleep because every time you breathe they creak. Apart from the very poor sleep, this place had everything you needed with a well stocked kitchen and nice bathroom."

"This place has a lot of character and was a great experience. We didn’t book the Irori dinner, which I regretted very much. It’s a hostel, not a hotel, so as expected it was a bit spartan. However, the main sitting area was lovely and interesting and the staff were top notch - warm and accommodating. If you are looking for character and tradition over modern comforts, you will enjoy your stay very much. It’s also just a short walk to Gora station where you can hop on the cable car and ropeway as...

"An amazing house with great volume, vaulted ceilings, 4 bedrooms and a private onsen bath. The house was beautiful, perfectly located near all the exciting restaurants and sights around Hakone. A perfect place to spend a few days and I wish we had more time to truly enjoy it fully. Lots of windows, a beautiful garden, gorgeous interior with wood paneling everywhere and some rooms with traditional tatami mats. Highly recommend !"
