"Someone waited for us to check in after hours. They were very helpful. The rooms were very large and excellent for a family of four. Beautiful grounds. Like staying back in time. Nice walk along the river/border. Rooms were freezing. The heating didn't work."

"Das ist ein einfaches Hotel. Zimmer war recht gross und das Bett war ein Boxspringbett. Checkin ging schnell vor der Tür. Keine Rezeption vorhanden. Restaurant hatte geschlossen kann ich also nicht bewerten. Zimmer ok auch recht sauber, leider eine Glastür im Bad welche nicht geschlossen werden konnte. Fernseher könnte etwas größer sein. Dusche war auch nicht dicht so dass es recht nass wurde im Bad. Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Frühstück ok leider keine Beschriftung. Für 2 Tage...

We tried to get directions and check in details beforehand by messaging the host and through VRBO but without result. Following the directions on the listing did not take us to the property and it was only by chance spotting it across the fields that we managed to get there. We wandered round for a while looking for someone and eventually found our hosts door where he was waiting for us. If only we'd known that beforehand we'd have been saved a lot of worry and wasted time."
