Stay away. This is the most unprofessional and unsafe hotel experience I’ve ever had. During our stay, the staff at Casa Coco repeatedly changed prices, blocked us from leaving, and involved the police in what should have been a simple discussion about an agreed-upon charge for an additional guest. The problems began when reception refused to let us go on our planned excursions, claiming we had “unpaid transport fees” — even though the driver they referenced was not there and we had not used any transport from the hotel. They also kept changing the price for an extra guest who stayed two days. We agreed to pay, but every time we attempted to pay, the price increased again. The manager insisted the payment be made in euros, not the local currency (CFA), which is a major red flag and felt like the beginning of a scam. When we tried to leave to resolve the situation calmly, the staff blocked our taxi, refused to let us depart, and then called the police on us. We were taken to the local police station, where we sat for almost three hours while the hotel kept changing numbers again before finally settling on a price. The entire experience was intimidating, unregulated, and completely unprofessional. At no point did we feel safe. Casa Coco operates with inconsistent pricing, intimidation tactics, and zero regard for guest safety or honest business practices. Travelers should be aware that you can be harassed, overcharged, or detained for disputes you are not responsible for.

Mein Aufenthalt im Casa Coco war in jeder Hinsicht außergewöhnlich. Schon bei der Ankunft wurde ich von einem freundlichen Team empfangen, das mir das Gefühl gab, sofort willkommen zu sein. Das Personal an der Rezeption war stets hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer übertraf meine Erwartungen. Es war sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Ausblick war atemberaubend und hat jeden Morgen zu einem besonderen Erlebnis gemacht. Die Betten waren zudem äußerst bequem, sodass ich hervorragend geschlafen habe. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant des Hotels. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ansich vielfältig, von guter Qualität und ein aufmerksamer Service. Auch das Abendessen war ein kulinarisches Highlight. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls ideal. Man ist ruhig gelegen, aber dennoch sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Atmosphäre im gesamten Hotel war sehr angenehm und gemütlich. Ich kann das Casa Coco uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werde es bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Nianing definitiv wieder buchen. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!

Ich war schon 3x im Casa Coco und ich komme wieder, weil ich mich wirklich gut aufgehoben fühle. Alles da, was man zum Erholen braucht, die Gastgeber sind mega nett, das Personal sehr freundlich, Wünsche werden erfüllt...Das Hotel direkt am Meer-eine kleine Wohlfühloase...ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen

Recomiendo Casa Coco II, un lugar muy tranquilo y agradable. Las piscinas eran una maravilla. La habitación muy correcta, limpia y bien conservada. El desayuno muy rico, no había mucha variedad pero todo estaba muy bueno. Las cenas muy ricas, felicidades a los cocineros. Todo el personal ha sido muy muy amable, los senegaleses son gente maravillosa. Volveremos.

Der Anfang ( Einchecken) hat uns alle Nerven gekostet und den Rest des Tages verdorben. Wir haben die von der Hotels.com Bestätigung und unsere Belastung von unserer Kreditkarte gezeigt und die Administration hat uns trotzdem mehr als eine Stunde gequält. So eine Erniedrigung habe ich in meiner 44 Jahren noch nicht erlebt.

Ravies de notre séjour à la Casa Coco

Nous n'avons passé que deux nuits dans cet hôtel mais avons été ravies par l'accueil qui nous a été réservé. Le personnel est aux petits soins et très arrangeant (nous avons pu garder la chambre jusqu'à 20h sans aucun supplément alors qu'il fallait normalement la quitter à 12h). Les petits déjeuners sont corrects et les déjeuners et diners vraiment très bons : bravo au chef cuisinier et à son équipe! La plage de l'hôtel est très propre et le personnel veille à ce que nous ne soyons pas dérangées.

Es war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis im Casa Coco zu sein. Obwohl ich kein französisch spreche, konnte mir bei jeder Frage geholfen werden. Habe mich rundum wohl und gut versorgt gefühlt. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen, meine Erfahrungen gern teilen. Die Lage des Hotels ist toll, ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen, mit gutem Essen und nettem Service. Ich komme gern wieder (zum 3. Mal).
