Fabulous getaway.

Fabulous hotel. Offers avaudic retreats and treatments. Room was large clean and comfortable. Has a fabulous pool. Loovely quite het away from it all place, would recommend.

We spent a wonderful 5 days here in November. Great location among the trees. Woken to birdsong. Staff really helpful and friendly. Star man is the chef Thomas (Thomas Cook as he told us), who served us some brilliant meals. Tip: it’s worth getting a single cottage for the peace and the view

Plunge pool room nice but very over priced for what you get compared to similar properties and not upto standard for the price. It is a quite unique place with a tropical feel and the manager could not do enough to help resolve any problems we had in our room but as regular travellers we expected a little bit more luxury for what we had paid.

Poovar Over the hill and Trevandrum

The hotel has a great relaxing ambience, the staff cannot do enough to ensure that your stay is perfect and the pool is cooling on a very hot day. Try the fish in lemon butter sauce, just amazing.

Weekend escape

This hotel has a romantic boutique guest house type feel. It has the most amazing infinity pool and view, easily the best part of the property. The rooms seemed a bit tired and in need of some renovations. Staff were fantastic, super accommodating and friendly. The included dinner was also out of this world... best food Ive had in India. The immediate surrounding area is rather rural, so I would recommend this hotel if simply relaxing at the pool and eating good food is what you're after.

My hotel room virtually has no wifi that are usable. The router they provided is pretty much useless because the speed is so slow. The hotel front desk manager told me that most of their guests do not require wifi so they don't equip their hotel rooms with reliable wifi. The AC unit in the room is immediately above my pillow blasting to my bed, making a lot of noise that made a sleepless night for my stay. The floor carpet is kind of dirty. They also had power outage at the night I was staying and the generator kicked on which made very loud noise - my room is closest to the generator. I guess this property is prone to power outage so that's why they equipped the hotel with a power generator. The front desk staff is kind of nice though. They did everything trying to make me happy but the overall hotel condition was unbearable to me so I ended up terminating my booking after just one night stay and moved elsewhere. The hotel did not hold me to the early check-out penalty clause which I am very grateful. I think the hotel manager is very a friendly guy so for that I have to give him a very high rating for trying his best to manage through a very difficulty situation.

Nice hotel on top of the hill

Small comfortable hotel over the hill looking at the greenery and ocean in the distance. The hotel ground and landscaping was very nice. The hotel was cozy and feel like your own get away. Very friendly and helpful staff.
