Our door had a 1” plus gap at the bottom and a partial gap along the bottom of the vertical edge. It closed and locked. Fortunately there wasn’t much traffic in the hallway.

the staff is always very welcoming friendly professional
this time we had a few housekeeping issues ..the toilet char broke twice the curtain and rod fell down in the middle of the first night.. however the staff and large rooms made up for these mishaps.

I love this hotel. I’ve been here 3 times and each time I’ve had zero issues. It’s clean - next to everything and the beds are beyond comfortable. Also for being close to if not in times square - zero noise in the hallways and bedroom - maybe the first time in a long time I slept so well in manhattan:)
